So with the 2018 Mustang dropping in the not so distant future and the leaked order guide it got me thinking, will it be a gt350 or a gt500. What are your thoughts? What are you hoping it'll be? Personally, I'm hoping for an updated GT350 and a GT500 to come as well for those looking for a super GT car.

I know people are optimistic but Has Ford ever released a GT500 & GT350 in same generation?

I highly doubt a GT500 for Gen 6

Yes, there were '67, '68, & '69 GT350s & GT500s. The '69 models continued to be sold in '70.

My vote would be for both in 2018, but this option doesn't exist on the poll. My guess is we'll see GT350s being carried over from '17 into the '18MY, with the new GT500 being introduced later in the year.

I personally think if anything it will be a GT350 with minor changes. I highly doubt it will be a GT500 as we would have probably seen something by now about it.

I was hoping for a GT500. At minimum an updated GT350 with at least a track key for an additional 25HP

Thanks, I stand corrected :)

But I still dont think that a GT500 for 6th gen would be on cards and I would love to be proved wrong

I got a GT350. I hope they will discontinue GT350 and make GT500. I'll keep mine!

GT500 is coming, it may be a late 18 but most likely a 19 MY car.

I believe with the cost range of the current GT350, the GT500 will be $70k-$80k range not including ADM.

So start saving those pennies.

I'm hoping for a GT500 so it can draw attention away from the GT350 and maybe I can get one at MSRP. (correction) MSRP in California.

I pray the GT350 dies off for 2017.

To me that's the GT4. The videos I seen and heard do not sound like a fpc. I know the GT500 will have a 5.2 cpc but I still think this was the works of the gt4
It's possible........and I agree I wasn't convinced that was a FPC engine in the videos. However, the GT4 isn't street legal, so why would they have been testing it on the street?

:)
