The OP wired it without using a speed sensor box. I'm trying to do the same as well. Just need to find out which wires where used

It won't work. You will get a oss warning light.

If you want to try anyway, LOOK at the schematic. I would assume based on the very easy to read and understand drawing I posted, connect ground to ground, signal to signal and cap off the 12v.

Question on the Dakota Digital box...are these settings something that can be done in the tune or through the obd2 calibration tool? Or is this because of the two wire different sensor itself? Seems like if this was a stock transmission for this vehicle the tune should be able to be configured to what it is in the GT500.

Also what needs to be done for the throw out bearing, slave, etc? Does the stock MT82 stuff work?

I'm not sure what Lund did on his end, those are the setting to allow the computer to read everything properly. If you choose to not run a calibration box, you will get OSS sensor warning codes. GT500 and 5.0 aren't the same.

I reused the throw out and reverse light plug from my MT-82.

Well I just bought a TR6060 that is being sent to Ben Calimer for his Stage 2 upgrade :D Greatly appreciate all the info in this thread and a few others on this forum :thumbsup: The install will be done at the same time my new 5.2L motor is getting installed, so basically it's going to be a whole new driving experience.

Quick question:

For the MGW shifter; is the Standard or Extended handle length recommended? I like the height of my current MGW race spec handle but wasn't sure how this new setup sits in our S550's

I was extremely lucky as yesterday I made my decision to do the swap then found out Ben C. was out of TR6060 cores so I began the frantic search and found a 2010 rebuilt (3000 miles) one on eBay and I won the bid so it's being shipped up to Ben tomorrow :headbang:

Can you get any TR6060 for core charge or does it have to be the GT500? Just curious since there are some very cheap Vette 6060's out there
