It's sad I got excited when I saw the legroom of 45.1 being 6'6" tall.

Interior Colors:
Ceramic
Tan
Ebony
Showstopper Red
Midnight Blue
Some interesting things from this:
Midnight Blue leather should be interesting.
It will indeed be sticking with the Shaker Pro audio, no B&O Play.
401A Package now called "Premium Plus" package. Really wish we could see what's included in the packages.
Only one Performance Package listed. Makes me think PP2 is a Bullitt/Mach1 deal.

Okay. I was confused by the whole fleet thing, because I didn't think the Performance Pack would be available at all for fleets, but I guess now that it's available with the automatic maybe the Hertz Adrenaline line of cars may want it or something.

Probably the same for a premier interior trim option (I'm hoping). They can't tease us with stuff like glove leather wrapped steering wheels only to stick us in hard plastic with cardboard pleather seats. If they bundled that into Premium Plus, that would be the suck.

I thought I remember reading somewhere that the nicer leather is combined with the digital cluster all in the Premium Plus package. Since this is the 401A package now, my guess is it'll still include the Shaker Pro and memory seats, but will kick the blind spot monitoring and cross traffic detection into the Safe and Smart package, and give you the nicer leather and digital cluster instead. Hoping we see a breakdown of packages soon.

Has there been confirmation of 2 separate performance packages?

When I spoke to a Ford rep at the Houston auto show, who said mostly does test driving in Michigan, I mentioned there being two separate performance packages to offer different sets and he said "why would we ever offer two separate performance packages. It would only make sense to offer performance-based upgrades in a single package."

They're sticking with the base model getting a 4.2" screen with Sync2

A base model Chevy Spark even gets a 8" touchscreen with Android Auto....

Those sons of whores. 401A is what, $1800? That would be worth it if the price doesn't go up (figure $400 for premiere, $700 for digital cluster on their own, the prices should be lower when bundled into a package).

How long are they going to drag out releasing the final performance numbers? That kind of stuff should be announced by the time you can order the car.

I found this interesting, all of the interior dimensions are identical to the '15-'17 except the legroom, which goes up in the front (by .5") but goes down in the back (by 1.5"). Wonder what is driving this.

I'm sure they will be well known by the time orders open.

Side note - you go through a lot of Mustangs in a quick order. :mullet:

Yeah...as a 2015 non-premium owner, I'd say the base cars are sitting a little behind the curve in this department. Check the MK7 or refreshed MK7.5(?) GTI interface for reference. Low/mid $20k cars with a big ol' touchscreen, Apple/Android, etc.
