Oh! Thanx for that, you are right, i was looking for US fog lights so i was confused, since iam still waiting for my Mustang (damit, still around 5 months moreeeee - its killing me!) and could not check myself yet.
So - its just plug n play then? Buy 2 aprorpiate LEDs and just change them? Sweet!! :) ...then - i have to ask, why did you swap the whole FOG light when its just about changing bulbs? (and its cheaper...) Just curious...

Anyway, thanx a lot for answer!

Because
- US led fog light has a better appearance
- I _HATE_ those ugly DRLs in fog lights and I want to remove them
- illumination is better, but I have to admit that I never use fog lights :D

This

Also because, Fog bulb by DD -> 120$ and DRL -> 40€
But you can find fog bulb way cheaper on Ebay from China.

So all together, it's the price of the new fog light with, like Papinist said, better appearance on the car

Parking lights: LED W5W bought on Ebay (10 for 2,44 Euros). They also fit in glove box and trunk (not as map lights).

that's just an easy switch?

must say all those "yellow" lights on my front is just... ugly looking.

I'm okay with them being small and keeping the turn signals seperate and stuff... but why'd we get non-leds yellow lights?

I might look into getting those DRL/fogs taken care of too...

Not so easy, actually, but it can be done with the car on the ground. You'll have to:
1) turn the wheels
2) following the instruction of the manual to open an access to the back of the bulb
3) a little torch to light the socket (can be very helpful!)
4) to unplug the... plug
5) using pliers to grab the back of the bulb and turn it counterclockwise for about 45° degrees
6) to remove the bulb

Thanks tarnisil for this info, looks nice and the LED's are really cheap.
Will update the first post

Dear all,
has anybody experienced any electronic faults after installing a led light?
I have the orange wrench light on: it's probably a faulty PCM issue, but I want to exclude any possible other reasons (I'm too lazy to put the original lights back!)

Thanks!

You only have the orange wrench light on without a message ?

How much kilometers do you have now? Maybe it's just time to make the service ... :headbonk:

Hi John,
it's not the service light (unfortunately!): it's the "wrench of doom" and the message says "see manual".
They serviced the car, reset the PCM, and, since they couldn't still turn it off, Ford agreed in changing the PCM (on warranty).
Anyway, I want to be sure it's not a matter of led lights disturbing some electronics...

Hmm, then it's a bit tricky to determine what's the cause of this light ... Do you only have the wrench light on or also another light ?

Have you installed a set of switchbacks with resistors ?

Occasionally, the airbag light stays on, but they said it's a faulty dome light (Ford is waiting the new part since June...) and, anyway, that happened since months before the wrench light appeared.

Here is the chronology of the events:

- installed led DRL lights (no issue at all);
- installed aftermarket amplifier + subwoofer: orange wrench light appears immediately after!
- installed led parking lights, trunk light and glove box light (taken on Ebay)
- removed amplifier (as Ford told me to do)
- serviced at Ford with no results...

I'm just trying to exclude the possibility of some interference coming from a led light, but reading the post you just sent me it seems that light should have nothing to do with lighting...

Well, then seems that your aftermarket installation damaged something on your car ...

And yes, reading all other threads, no one mentioned a problem with LED bulb installation.

Let's hope that the PCM exchange will solve your issue ...
