I'm with you Norm for my "toys". Minimalist, simple, NA, machine-like is what I want to drive at the track. It's why I'll stick with my Z28 (we sold the 302R) and have no interest in owning the new ZL1 1LE. But I would take one out for a drive though.

It works great. As others have said, be sure the leading edge is flush with the body panel. Here you can see the dirt it will pick up when the tape starts to lift (on the rear gills).

I think you're right. The '14/'15 Z28 scratched the track junkie's itch. Not sure the ZL1 1LE will do the same. FI is a non-starter for a lot of us.

The early Z28 buyers faced this same issue from GM. Produced in March and April and most didn't show up till June or later w/o any explanations or info. It gets frustrating when buying expensive cars and you can't get any answers.
