Nice try, officer.
My GT has seen and sustained 120mph. The car wasn't even sweating and had lots left on the table before the driver decided enough was enough.

This thread is right on time. I just got pulled over for traveling faster than the limit and thankfully the officer gave me an advisory instead of a ticket. Thank you, officer.
It really got into my head. I've been researching Radar/Laser detectors as a result. I've been comparing various...
It's perfectly feasible that he saw something from Galpin Auto Sports but I don't think those guys would camo a car. They want you to see everything!
Maybe Ford is up to something - they've got a pretty big design studio in Irvine and they seem to like using the streets of Los Angeles as...
I attended the Ford Owner Event in Irvine, CA this past weekend. I had discussions about the digital speedometer with guys from several departments and all of them seemed to take the feedback seriously.
I went in determined to make a strong case for a HUD but I got the general feeling that...
...to a Ford Mustang "Market Research" Owner Event? There's one in Irvine, CA in about a month.
I've read about Ford doing these events in the past. Apparently our friends at FoMoCo do this to let their customers give direct feedback to the engineers, which to me means we're going to be making...
I dunno, markology. It's been my experience that things are different when you're on the road versus when you're parked. When I'm parked, I get much love. In the last month I've chatted with more modern performance car owners than ever in my life. Example, co-worker drives a Porsche that I...
Not stupid at all, man. You've nailed precisely what it is. I don't believe there's anything mechanically wrong with everyone's speedometers or our car's computer. I think the two main gauge pods, Tachometer and Speedometer, have been installed with a slight misalignment from the factory.
Both...
I don't have any information for you OP other than to say that's a cool idea and makes for one helluva unique ride, man. Can't wait to see your progress with the 2015 Mustang. Think the car turns heads now? This would be a neckbreaker.

The S550's have definitely landed in greater Los Angeles now. I've been seeing 3-4 a day, mostly Ecoboost and if it's a convertible it's a V6. Other than my own, I've only seen one other GT out in the wild and yes, we saluted one another -- a little side by side on the 101 freeway while I geeked...
Yeah....having a car is just so...silly. Especially in the largest city in the U.S. - especially this L.A. with its useless public transportation system. It's just so frustrating to have the freedom to move around and do what you wanna in America. And darn...it costs money just like everything...
If you're in a Premium, there's a Toggle Switch to select your driving modes.
If you're not in a Premium, you can still get close to what Sport+ does. Just shift into S and then change your steering feel to Sport. You're all in there.

Sport+ is ridiculous and transforms the car into a snarling, growling road rocket. Every curvy road in town has the potential to become an event, every long straightaway an invitation.
I've said this before on other threads but I believe it with all of my heart so I'll say it again -- Leave it...
OP I think you should just give it some time, man. Its likely all of your sensors are working fine. The car is factory fresh and has been inspected. You're hardly 1/3rd of the way through break-in period. (First 1K miles) Your Mustang seems normal to me. Don't drive it one more time and then go...
I hope your car isn't experiencing some sort of technical issue because I listen to a lot of electronic bass-heavy music in my GT Premium and I can definitely hear that subwoofer. Hell, I can see the subwoofer when it sends delicious bass into the cabin to shake my mirrors.
I think you should...
Guys immediately jumping into EQ first are doing it all wrong. If you haven't messed with the Fader setting, you haven't heard the stereo in this car. Your EQ (Bass, Midrange and Treble) is subjective - you do what sounds best to your ear. However you've GOT to adjust the Fader before you get...
