No not serviced recently. There is a pine tree by where I park. It could be sap. The paint is definitely cracked.

It does not. It hasn’t happened on any other spot. I don’t know if something got on it or if it is some kind of corrosion.

Just noticed this.

I have tried it in my ‘16 and it works. Here is my question. Is the engine turning over actually starting the engine or is the computer activating the starter just as if you pushed the button?

The only chime that annoys me is the 5 chimes that happen when you open the door with the engine running. I have to get out of my car 5 times every morning at work and this chime bugs the sh!t out of me.
