My state has 93 almost everywhere. The only thing that concerns me about getting a tune is when traveling to nearby states on rare occasions where only 91 is available. So what you are saying is that I am okay to run 91 with a 93 Lund tune? Been running 93 on the stock tune since day 1. This may...
How bad are the exhaust fumes from going catless compared to hi-flow cats? Are the exhaust fumes really that noticeable so that having a catless setup for a DD would be a bad idea?
ACC radar works on the 77 GHz frequency which is far higher than X, K, or Ka band used by police radar and thus detected by radar detectors.
On the other hand, BLIS works on K-band (24.050-24.250 GHz) but is very low powered and pointing away from radar detector on your windshield. It is still...
Why wouldn't a 30 series 325/335 tire work on 20x12 inch rim if 315/35/20 fits fine on an 11" wide rim? Wouldn't a more aggressive offset help even though the tires would stick out past the fenders a bit? Also, wouldn't a modified rear suspension setup help clear a wider than 315 tire?
As far...
Same concept and similar side-wall height as 30 series 315/305 20" tires. The GT350R tires are barely over 26" tall on a 19" rim.

The same thing happened when the C7 Corvette came out. The structure lost weight, but all the losses were negated when it was contented up. Same thing is happening to the Camaro. The only reason it won't be 100 lbs heavier than the outgoing model like the C7 was is that it on a smaller and...
It's only 20 HP, btw. 455-435 = 20
Will a 1SS be faster than a GT? It definitely should but not as much as some of the dolts on Camaro6 site are predicting. Probably about 2 to 3 tenths at most in the quarter and maybe less than 2 tenths if the weight of the 1SS comes in closer to 3800 lbs...
They'll be extremely lucky for it to come in under 3750 with all the standard content of the 1SS. Watch when weights are released and its closer to 3800 than 3700. That will make their forum go into even more of a tizzy. Guess they're have to hold onto Al O's claim of the base no-option 1SS...
Wow. I'll have what this guy is smoking. :lol:Amazing how these dolts think that a heavier LT1 6g Camaro can compete against the VooDoo GT350 in any trim considering it has a 71 hp and 2000 rpm disadvantage. Maybe they're still holding to the belief of a sub 3700lb base weight and GM possibly...
Exactly. Those that are not brand loyal or enthusiast (i.e. majority of buyers) look at price 1st, looks 2nd, and horsepower 3rd. IMO, the 20 hp gap is too little to make up the price difference for these buyers. GM is going to have to give away super-sized rebates once the newness wears off the...
Just did a 600 mile road trip in my RR GT 50th with 3.15s. On the way there did mostly 85-90 mph on the Interstate and averaged a little over 21 mpg. On the way back I took it easy and set the cruise on 77-78 mph most of the way. Averaged 23.5 mpg.
Made a pull up to 145 about a week ago and about 130 earlier today. :headbang: Although, 99.99% of the time I'm no more than 10-15 over the limit. Got roughly 1200 miles on the car. The comment about getting your blood pumping is spot on too!
