  1. Toyota GR86 Anyone?

Initially I actually wanted the GR86 but I liked the updates Subaru did to the suspension, where as Toyota kept some of the parts from the former car. I also trust the Subaru dealer close to me more than any of the Toyota dealers here. Subaru also put up pre orders back in July, so I ordered...
  2. Toyota GR86 Anyone?

So I actually picked up my 2022 BRZ last month and I've been loving it. It pretty much fixed every complaint I had about the last car and I'm super impressed with almost 2K miles and a track day in. Power is definitely very much improved, I thought it may not be as quick as my tuned Fiesta ST...
  3. Thinking about going from GT back to a slow car

Have you thought about getting a new Fiesta ST and upgrading to better riding shocks? I love mine, I get why you would want to switch. The car is fun enough that I decided to get it over compromising on a GT that wasn't optioned exactly the way I wanted. That and it was significantly cheaper...
  4. Ford NAIAS ST?

Probably not, there's a line going through where the badge sits in the picture. Here's the Edge. It's an Edge ST! Interesting to say the least... https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedia/fna/us/en/news/2018/01/11/ford-drives-all-new-edge-st-into-showrooms.html
  5. Ford NAIAS ST?

Because a performance CUV would probably sell like crazy and could bring in new buyers. Plus Ford would have a Ford Performance vehicle in every segment from a (relatively) inexpensive hatchback, to trucks to a supercar and now CUV's. The only vehicles with a slant like that in the hatch area...
  6. 2018 Roush Mustang [Updated with official images/spy photos]

I imagine that they left it that way because the new front end impacts aero a little bit more now. The good news is if it is as minor as it looks, it'll reduce cost without the need of an entire new bumper.
  7. 2018 Performance Pack - A big step BACKWARDS

I still think the Mustang is an excellent option against the Camaro, besides some weird packaging. Even if the price is higher. Though it does kill a huge advantage the Mustang had. If one does want ultimate performance for the price though the 1LE is tough to beat as much as I hate to admit...
  8. 2018 Performance Pack - A big step BACKWARDS

That's what I thought. Honestly I thought the GT would be slightly less than it is now and with the PP pack would be the price of the base Camaro new. But with the PP going up so much and needing at least 301A kind of killed that chance. Granted I would take a normal GT over an SS any day...
  9. 2018 Performance Pack - A big step BACKWARDS

I wonder if Pilot Sport Cup 2's would close that gap to the 1LE? The Camaro has fairly aggressive tires. Though I'm just happy the PP finally has something more than those P Zeroes. I almost feel like the whole point of the PP was to beat the normal Camaro, it comes with 275 summers standard.
  10. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

Where has this been officially stated? I can't find anything about it. It's a new engine, so of course it's going to take some time to figure things out but I don't see anywhere about the ECU being locked.
  11. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

Go into the order guide and look for the pictures of every wheel option towards the end. You'll find the one wheel that has no image, underneath the blank picture is a note saying it is for the Performance Package Level 2 option. It is pure speculation about the tire, but it makes a lot of...
  12. 2018 Mustang Order Guide

Magneride requires the performance pack, read under the option and it gives you a note. I assume the performance pack is available only on models with Sync 3 (Which comes with 301A) because the performance pack will utilize the new drive modes a little bit more. Such as the drag mode that was...
  13. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

So I wonder if this is our Performance Package Level 2 wheel? The only blank wheel option is for Level 2. Interesting thing to note is the front wheels are 19 x 9.5" and the rears are 19. x 10.0". So it looks like there is the possibility of a wider tire. I wonder if it is a Pilot Sport Cup 2...
  14. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

An R can reach 69K fully loaded. I am very interested to see where a GT will end up with every single option. We have quite a few more options with a slight increase in MSRP.
  15. 2018 Mustang Build & Price on July 25 [UPDATE: Now Live!]

I wouldn't put to much faith in that, the Taurus isn't getting any major changes for the 2018 model year at all. That is flat out wrong. Those are probably estimates.
  16. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

I agree, just wish more wheels were offered on the PP packs. That wheel looks great, but probably isn't available on a the GT PP. It's a great start to have the forged wheel option though. That V8 want will hit me again. I just hope it waits until this car is paid off! In the meantime though...
  17. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

That's one thing I thought I would miss about the Mustang, all the room but the car fits me well. Those Recaro's are just perfect. If there was a Fiesta RS I wouldn't even think twice about buying one. Hardly trying to brag, but just pointing out that these cars are far more than just some...
  18. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

It's hard not to when an ST is just as much fun to drive as a more expensive Mustang for so much less. I picked mine up so I could save to eventually order my own 2018+ GT, but sometimes I don't think I want to stop driving this little car. I thought only a Boss would replace my Mach 1, but no...
  19. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

Ya, especially since two of those are very affordable, a ridiculous amount of fun to drive and very practical. It's hardly a thing of what millennials want, it's what they can afford. I wanted another Mustang really badly but the price and insurance would make things difficult. Why bother with a...
  20. 2019 GT500 Mustang New Spy Video, Pics, Info

If this car had a TVS on it you wouldn't really hear any whine. They're really quiet. My Dad's Roush with the 2.3L TVS isn't audible at all until pulling into the garage and it echoes a bit. Even then, it's a very quiet whine. The exhaust doesn't sound any different from an NA GT with the same...
