Looking for suggestions on how to best replicate the black painted roof of coupes with the black pony package. My PP1 GT did not include a black pony package
I have heard suggestions from just have your tint shop
A) Vinyl wrap it
B) PPF black film wrap
C) Paint it
I see Anchor room has a...
Not a bad price if it makes my exhaust more livable.
Did your friend with long tubes/ Corsa cat back say that the Borla resonator bolted in fine without any changes?
Borla says their resonator pipe only works with their cat back systems
Yeah I had the carless headers/ x pipe/ stock active before and it was plenty loud. I went with the Corsa system and loved the exotic sound but the volume is way too much.
To preserve the second hand value of my Corsa cat back system, I'd seriously jump on that Borla resonator and bolt that in...
Having the same problem here. Texas Speed cat less headers into corsa x pipe then corsa active sport-extreme axle back and the volume was insane. Ear deafening to drive it even aggressively in any mode.
Looking for solutions.
Did the vibrant resonators quiet it down enough?
I am currently...
I dug up these two screenshots of people discussing headers and how much volume they add even with cats.
so the two options im looking at now:
1) replace headers with stock manifolds with cats (hard to source used) and $2k + expensive via Ford
this will likely require a retune as different...
yeah i did the CORSA math: catless headers + sport-extreme = double extreme
Could 300-400 cell cats be added to mt my headers? Or do i need to buy them already installed?
i reached out to corsa and they described their valved exhausts like this:
Stock manifold + stock resonator + active axleback = sound range from touring to sport
stock manifold + corsa x pipe + active axleback =sound range from sport to extreme
i’ve added substantial volume with catless...
I think the headers are Texas Speed cat less. I just installed a full Steeda suspension. And added the Corsa active Sport-Extreme catback ( which in hindsight was too much) . I'm willing to spend as much as $2500 to fix this. Cost of stock manifolds and install plus a retune to deal with the...
Sad part about giving up my current corsa setup would be the stock axle back. GT500 tips and valence look great. So that would make it easier.
Do you have any pics of your exhaust? clip of the sound?
I am inclined to keep the Corsa catback for the sound quality. But im open to other options if needed like a GT500 factory set catback.
I looked for stock exhaust manifolds and they were much harder to find than stock catbacks.
Searched on Ford parts website and the price like you said for...
i had it dyno’d last month and it was at 479 RWHP. The headers were on car when i bought it
My question is if i have to decrease flow to lower the decibels then are cats going to be enough?
im open to all options at this point.
I purchased the corsa catback bc i love the more exotic sound...
