Had the same issue but couldn’t find O2 spacers as they’re seemingly blocked from buying if you’re from US, so instead I heard you could use spark plug non-foulers right from O-Reilly’s and a little bit of SOS pad in between that and your O2, threw them in, no more check engine no more code 🤙...
Hey all, I got my 2020 GT almost 2 years ago now, I’ve modded it significantly Lund tuned, of course they changed the rules so they no longer turn off CEL for the O2 sensors. This drove me nuts so finally a couple months ago I figured out how to trick the O2’s so I’d no longer have a CEL, so I...
That’s understandable to each is own, in that case tho I’m fairly certain that if you want to use the stock 2013-2014 s197 shifter with the plus minus button on the handle you should be able to, I thought about going that route cuz it’s about 1/2 the price maybe even cheaper if you could find...
Yes there’s a functional trigger/button that works very nicely on the grip. But for those of you that aren’t into the hurst pistol grip shifter I also had the option of just using the stock shifter knob for the 2013-2014 S197’s. They’re about half price and as one commenter said he doesn’t care...
That’s exactly why I did it that and as I’ve got a chance to drive it with the mod I love the fact that I can now drive casually down the strip with one hand on the wheel and manually shift without looking like a nerd keeping my hands at 10-2 just cruising, I’ve virtually never used the manual...
Alright so the 2015-18 mustangs you’ll use the pics below for the proper wire colors. And both of these are for the GT’s only as I’m not sure the eco boost have the same wiring scheme. ENJOY!
So first thing you’re gonna want to go online and buy the hurst shifter from American muscle from the 2013-2014 mustang s197, yes it’s going to say will not fit but I assure you it will that’s the only shifter with buttons pre-installed and it works like a charm trust me, the other thread on...
Hey all, over the last couple months I’ve been researching how to make it so my manual paddle shift buttons could also be added/rerouted to the shifter knob because I hate it how you have to be at 10 and 2 with both hands on the wheel in order to manually shift my A10 s550. I got the idea...
Hey boss where exactly did you tie into the paddle shifters, did you have to in between the clock springs and the paddle shifters, or could you tie in further down the line? I mean could you tie in at the pcm? Or on the way to the tranny? Which would be easiest I’m just kind of brainstorming...
Hey bro did you get this done? I’m just wondering where I can tap into the wires at? Does it have to be before the clock springs, like from the paddles to the clock springs or am I able to tie in at an easier location?
Pretty sure it is the pcv, I went ahead and replaced mine and not much later started doing it again. I wouldn’t worry about it too much although it is irritating as hell
