  1. HUD?

I think it should be optional so those who don't want it don't have to pay for it, but why wouldn't you want one? You can always turn it off and they're a pretty cool bit of tech that doesn't dilute the car in any way.
  2. Ecoboost Challenge/Focus ST vs. my GTI

So I finally got to do this Saturday... and it was a pretty cool event, especially for free. My main point of this thread: Focus ST >> GTI The hypermiling challege was alright, I was able to get 84.7 MPG in the Fusion Hybrid, could only get about 60 in the C-Max. Somebody got like 108 and...
  3. AWD?

AWD Mustang for the lose
  4. Favorite TV shows

:amen: I'm a huge fan of Dexter and Top Gear, Breaking Bad is good too. I should check out Homeland, it's filmed here in Charlotte.
  5. If you end up hating the 2015?

It'll really depend, hard to think ahead a few years for me with cars, as I'm always interested in something else. But I'll like try to get a '14 GT at a bargain basement price if I don't like the new ones.
  6. 2015 Mustang (s550) Wish List

Yep, I'm good with the current power train options, honestly. Wants: Lighter weight (V6 ~3000 lbs, V8 3200 lbs ideally, for base models) Shorter length/width (mostly length) IRS Track Pack with good suspension, gearing, brakes, etc. Recaros still an option Good 6 speed manual Cool colors like...
  7. Now that we've seen the new Mustang...

I really dig it, I think it's a great blend of classic Mustang agressiveness and modern styling. Now, it's hard to say what the whole car will look like together with paint, but so far so good IMO.
  8. Introduce yourself!!

Hello everyone, Dan here in Charlotte. I've never owned a Mustang and I'm not as much of a die hard Ford guy as many of you on here, more of a general car enthusiast. I have always been a fan of Mustang and have owned a Ford Taurus and that thing was rock solid. 240k+ miles with no major...
  9. Which engine for 2015 Mustang?

If I get one I'll probably go V8. All of my cars have been four cylinders up to this point other than a brief stint with a Taurus with the 3.0 V6 :frusty: I'm also afraid that in 5-10 more years there will be no more V8 cars to be purchased, so I kind of want to at least get the chance to own...
