I don't know why it would be a blur. It would be just as focused. the road would just be moving under it. As you said, though, probably only useful at a stop light. Maybe on the freeway too where the other cars are travelling along side of you.
Ya, good point. I waste more money on coffee that that :)
I don't understand you point on decreasing repair bills. How does higher octane accomplish that??
octane doesn't make it burn hotter, cooler, faster, slower, cleaner, dirtier. All it does is resist pre-detonation. Nothing more, nothing less. The only affect it will have on mileage would be that the car would have more potential for higher power, due to the computer being able to advance...
For me, I'm interested more in the actual noise cancellation part. Do you notice a difference in road/wind/engine noise during normal driving, like cruising down the freeway?
Some guys won't even let baby's tears touch their cars once they get them, yet they've sat out in this lot for a month gathering whatever industrial crap is raining down on them... ironic.
it sounds really bad right as they get out of the tunnel. Almost like they had a window open because you could hear the opposing traffic go past. Definitely sounds good when they are getting on it.
yes, I'm fully aware of what caps mean. That's why I chose them.
I would speculate that the reason of the difference in sound is that when you pull out some frequencies, it will emphasis others. These frequencies may not be as "pleasing" to some ears as Ford thought they might...
Once again, just like TampaBear said, Pay attention.... THEY ARE NOT PIPING IN OR PLAYING ENGINE NOISES OVER THE STEREO.
It's called Active Noise CANCELLATION. The mics pic up the unwanted sounds (road noise, unappealing engine frequencies) and plays an opposite sound wave which...
Ya, I would speculate that they can turn it off by reprogramming the ECM. Whether or not you could get the service dept to do it is another thing. plus, it'll cost you > $50.
You could always negotiate that being turned off as part of the purchase...
