Thanks!... Yes, simple all around for maintenance as well as having actual buttons and knobs in the interior instead of everything being touchscreen. We actually went in looking at the CX-5, until my wife saw the CX-50 in that Ingot Blue Metallic and liked it better. And honestly, so did I once...
Just picked up this CX-50 a couple weeks ago. Was tempted to get the turbo but couldn't justify the extra money seeing as it's the new family/wife's car, and I already have my toy lol so ... Really liking it though. Handles great for what it is and better looking than the Honda CRV and Toyota...
I definitely drive my car aggressively at times around the street, to an extent. And I'd be lying if I said I've never occasionally touched low triple digits for a few seconds when getting onto a highway, or while on a wide open highway at certain times of the day. And of course, that also comes...
I got my 93 tune from Shoemaker through lethal performance. I went with him based on recommendations on here that said he was the reason PBD was so highly regarded. I've read some opinions to the contrary now that Shoemaker has left.
Anyway, car runs great and pulls hard for a basically stock...
Yes, very aware of that. But I feel like if that was the case with my car, the throttle would be touchier in say the first 50% of the pedal travel, for example, and then die off after that. But my throttle feels pretty linear now and it just keeps pulling throughout the duration of all the gears...
All I can say is my car is mostly stock, just a CAI and Catback. The 93 tune on my car made a noticeable difference, particularly with low end torque. Although, my car is a manual. And yes, I have flashes it back to stock and then to the tune again just to double check. Pulls .uch stronger and...
I've only done the two person method, but I want to make my life easier, so this time around I'm going to get the Motive kit. Just want to confirm which one fits 15-17 PP GTs. I've read and watched videos with guys using the 0109 kit on GT350s and it fit. But, it actually says it's for European...
Of course... I was being facetious about the tax credits. It's a completely horrible financial decision to have kids, much like buying a car generally is also lol.
Read through this thread as I'm getting ready to do a flush on my car. Just wanted to double-check the process since I've bled brakes on other cars before, but not an S550.
I'm pretty sure I didn't see anyone bring it up yet, and maybe it's a silly question. But is any consideration given to...
Well, both my sons are obsessed with mustangs, and cars in general, at ages 7 and 4 thanks to me ....and I only have one mustang now to pass on when I leave this world one day. And I can't in good conscience give to one and not the other lol. So, I'm pretty much obligated to do the right...
I replaced my stock PP pads with the Z26 pads because of brake dust. I don't track my car though. For occasional aggressive street driving, I feel almost no difference in bite between the stock pads and these. MAYBE slightly less initial bite, but that's about it. And even that's debatable...
Yea I have a 93 tune and my fans are programmed to kick on earlier. A Reische 170 thermostat was recommended and I've read good things about the results for engine temps. As for the higher flow water pump, I'm just not convinced it will give much of a benefit compared to the cost, especially on...
I've been going back and forth myself about replacing my pump this winter as a preventative measure and for peace of mind. I'm at 22,000 miles and knock on wood, no symptoms at all that it's failing or about to fail. So I'm not sure still. Something just doesn't sit right with me about replacing...
