So I got completely done with the Bluetooth lag and bought an Kenwood Excelon double din head unit and had it installed with the idatalink kit. Everything is awesome, except I can't find the heated steering wheel controls. It's not in the climate controls on the head unit and I don't see a...
So this is really weird.
I got a new phone. A Samsung Galaxy Z4 Fold. And within about 10 min of connecting it to the Car the Sync3 crashes with "vehicle network error". And even the damned blinkers stopped working...
Not looking for help, just thought id share as this is crazy.
I have the 8inch which as I understand it makes these single/double din systems possible without too much hacking away or needing a custom dash kit like the 4inch.
Edit: I forgot to mention, yes I intended to use the full iDatalink kit to keep as much function from Sync3 as possible with...
I'm looking at doing a nice upgrade and I've seen this one recommended on a few sites but haven't seen any images of one installed in an s550, was hoping if anyone has it they would share some images and thoughts.

Ok so after discussing with some friends who are far smarter than I am, we tinkered with 2x of my android phones (Samsung Galaxy z fold3, Samsung Galaxy S9) and I was able to get the delay almost unperceptively low. It's not perfect, but it's WAY better.
Steps:
1) Place phone in developer mode...
I paid $123 for the mount with the small table universal holder (I swap between phones frequently) and am quite happy with it. The only frustration I'm working to resolve is since the base isn't completely vertical, it has about a 15° tilt up, the phone holder portion only has limited...
Hi Mustang6g,
I was referred here by Reddit. I own a 2020 Mustang GT with the Sync3 B&O stereo. During my lunch I like to watch movies on my phone (we don't have a lounge or anything, so my car is the comfortable place I have) with the audio over the stereo. In my Nissan xTerra this has never...
