  1. Damn It’s Cold

75 today and 80 tomorrow. Shorts or jeans? 🤔 There has to be some benefit to living here. Driving the Mustang year round certainly is one.
  2. Hyundai Elantra N Owner has car deregistered for driving in "N" Mode

They aren't. I've seen many motorcycles around here cited for aftermarket exhaust, almost always crotch rockets. No idea why they get singled out and Harleys ignored. 🤷‍♂️ For the most part, the police dont care about silly stuff like this and they leave us alone. It's just that one dick head...
  3. Mysterious Button in GT

That was my thought as well. The button looks a lot like the button I've seen for electric cut outs
  4. What knob is this?

Yup, that's the Billetworkz. I have that exact same knob in my car. It comes with an adapter, you can see its screwed into the knob in your 3rd pic. Hopefully if it doesn't work as is you can simply get a different adapter to use instead
  5. Bullitt Sequel?

I agree. But we are in the era of remakes. So this will happen whether we like it or not. There is no telling if a car chase will even appear in the movie. They could take it in another direction or worse, use electric cars 🤮 I can totally picture Hollywood putting Mach E's in the movie 🤮🤮🤮 If...
  6. Bullitt Sequel?

I think he's referring to the 2016 all female version not the 2021 film that I agree was very good.
  7. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Its the stock diffuser with Roush Aero Foils https://www.cjponyparts.com/roush-rear-valance-kit-aero-foil-mustang-gt-2018-2022/p/422085/
  8. Rear GT logo plate out of alignement

Mine looked exactly like yours. I took some plastic spacers like others have mentioned and was able to space the taillight out so it looks better.
  9. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Finally deleted the resonator in favor of a H-pipe. I painted the welds with some high temp exhaust paint. Figured it couldn’t hurt 🤷🏻‍♂️ I went from the Roush axle back that I got tired of, too loud for me, to the Ford performance touring axle back, too quiet then added the H-pipe to go along...
  10. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

  12. California emission laws

Like mentioned, Monterey is one of if not the most beautiful city in the state. Absolutely gorgeous. Lots of car related stuff in the area. Monterey car week being the big one. Leguna Seca isn't far away. Highway 1 is one of the most scenic drives in the world. But it all comes at a cost. You...
  13. California Roush Axle back 18-22 GT

Selling my used Roush axle back for 18-22 Mustang GT I don't recall how many miles are on them, but my car currently has 5,394 so less than that. Asking $450 Shipped SOLD
  14. Californians - front plate or no?

Ran no plate for years without issue. Then I got a couple tickets for it in a short period of time so I've run one ever since. Just bad luck on my part but it got annoying to deal with. I use the Craigs bracket now, so no holes to drill and easy to remove when I want https://ccmustangbrackets.com/
  15. Has anyone found a way to quiet the whine on the Mt82?

I'm not too concerned about it, its under warranty and if it fails it fails. They'll just have to fix it. But if a simple fluid change will quiet it down I'd be game. Seems people have mixed results with that from what I've heard
  16. Has anyone found a way to quiet the whine on the Mt82?

I'm interested to hear what you discover. I have a 2020 GT and my mt-82 also whines in 1-3. Dead silent in 4-6. Its done it for as long as I can remember. I still have the stock clutch and stock fluid. I never really gave it much concern since it shifts perfectly. Just kind of figured it was...
  17. For Those That Have Installed Their Own Springs/Suspension Components.

If you have a vice, clamp the strut into the vise. Then you put the compressor on and have the spring swapped in seconds (with an impact). You can do it without the vise, but the compressor is heavy and clunky. It helps to have the strut secure so things aren't moving around on you. I've used...
  18. For Those That Have Installed Their Own Springs/Suspension Components.

That clam shell spring compressor is a life saver. It'll save you a lot of time. An impact would be nice to have. the G trac brace was a bitch. But once you figure it out, its not too bad. This post worked for me...
  19. Lowering spring install issue

I used it on my Steeda springs. So I can't say for sure they'll fit the OEM springs, but would think it would be fine
  20. Lowering spring install issue

Here's a link to an install video using that spring compressor. It really is that easy. Easier still if you have the ability to clamp the strut into a vice. Skip to 3:05 to see the compressor watch I'm sure you can get it done with the tools you have, but if you think you'll ever do this...
