Thanks alot brothers , exactly what I was hoping to hear . I was afraid that if you couldnt even hear it present at all outside before the soundtine mod that you wouldn't hear it inside either after.
Hey guys, so today I finally had my VMP gen 3 are supercharger installed. From the outside of the car even with the hood wide open, when you hit the gas, you don't hear any whine in the supercharger at all. I believe I have an 88 mm pulley on right now which is the biggest they recommend for 93...
Hey guys , I need a little more experienced opinion here . more out if curiosity and thinking about the next couple years , I have found a block here for my gen 2 . wondering what you guys think . would this be a good grab , of not, why not so ...
I would just like to have a daily driver that is a monster. of course still reliable and that will last . I wouldn't want to risk destroying the car , but what would safe be ? VMP has safely told me 750hp . I only use the car for some aggressive highway pulls and drives here and there...
I mean, it would be nice if the car would live for 6 years idk . ive only had it for one year . But I heard safe hp limit is 750 . I'm just wondering if you guys push past that limit and for how long has that been working for you on the fully stock block?
I remember when I used to own my BMW 335i, it was a 2009, however as soon as you bumb the shifter, it would switch gear almost immediately. Even people who have driven my car noticed that when you hit the paddle shifter, there's about a one or two second delay before the change
I have a 2017 Mustang GT, and I'm wondering if there's any way to change the delay the paddle shifters have on them? Is there some tune or anything you could do to make them respond more instantaneously?
Just wondering the highest and most power you guys are putting through the stock block? I've heard 750hp is a safe number, but what's the most you guys are running?
screwed I my lsst post
I wanted to thank you
because for some odd reason something just hit and made sense all of a sudden
when u said " Nobody gives a poop about TQ at 2,000 rpm when the car has 10 gears and lives at4,900+ RPM" . I realized what u meant..and it all made sense. so I guess...
I just want to thank everyone who contributed to this thread . Not only has it helped me really get a much much better clarity in my head about how torque and horsepower work and coincide , but also I think it's been a great conversation and debate for everyone
brother, I thank you so much for your response. it seems you really know your stuff when it comes to it . I value your opinion . from what I have seen in vmp videos and race videos , dyno graphs and opinions the vmp seems to really shine to me . it's also on a great sale at the moment.

Thanks alot for that response man ! so a truck like a 3500 6.7l turbo diesel, its has like 930ft lb trq and like 430 hp . would all that torque make it feel fast on the bottom end or in low rpms? or would it require more power to make it feel faster ?
You know what, I think this makes perfect sense if I understand correctly. Horsepower is all the power being generated to the wheels. When all that power is grounded through the tires and you hook up, that's where torque finally accelerates the car forward?
So for the sake of understanding this ... if this was even possible for examples same , If a supercharger adds 250hp but no torque , will you still feel a change in the car ?
