Im in Sacramento and head over to Carmel quite often. Whats going on at Laguna on August 28? Is November 27, the Turkey run or something like that? I am always driving the GT350 to Carmel, and could meet up. Jess
The first day with the GT350's is part of the original package.
The second day, if you attend and track in the race ready Mustang GT's, you have an option of purchasing additional second day track session photos for a fee from the photographer.
They have roll bars and have race radios and 4 point harnesses. Other than that, I'm pretty sure its the stock 5.2 Voodoo under the hood and the stock brakes, which work QUITE well, I might add!
Ive seen a wide body GT350 they did in Las Vegas and they brought the GT350 out to the Sonoma Raceway last year. Its freaking BEAUTIFUL!
They call it the J-Lo. ;-)
Jessie, I'm a Jesse too! I am new to this whole GT350 scene and picked mine up on July 5, 2020. Today, I have 12100 miles on her and all the words you used to describe the joy of being inside and driving this Shelby, are echoes of my very own views of this beast of a car. I special ordered...
I love the manual transmission. To me; theres nothing like it. I have a 2019 and I daily drive mine. I picked mine up in Glendale AZ on July 5, 2019 and broke the engine in coming back to CA. Today she has 12100 miles on the odometer. All I ever get is nothing but SMILES TO THE MILE!!
Zaxbys has pretty good chicken sandwiches!
You'll love the experience!
It took a little getting used to the H.A.N.S device and the helmet, but, it didn't take long!
Not much open because of Covid. Drive through restaurants are open and some do have dine in with social distancing. Mustang Owners Group Museum moved down the street a couple of buildings and was closed when I was there, but, they could be open when you go. Drink lots of water. Hydrate. It...
Thanks, I picked it up at Shelby American in Las Vegas last year. The Texaco sign is authentic and is 100 years old. I don't want pristine signs, I look for roached signs. They tell more of a story and I get to keep them alive.... My other half has a brick and motor store and lives in Carmel...
Doug......I was there with you. What a blast it was to be there for two days. That's a very accurate description of the difference between the two vehicles. I also have a 2019. I picked mine up in Arizona on July 5. It's K1805.
Anyone else here for the July 2 and 3 classes? I'm at the Courtyard by Marriott. Went to Ford Performance Racing School today and bought merchandise from their store. I'm ready for tomorrow!! Someone is here from Ohio in their GT350. Sweet!!!! Its a DRIVER!! Cant wait to meet them...
Thanks for the info. I am now at the Courtyard by Marriott. Saved $300.00+. Couldn't see staying at Embassy Suites if they rent going to adjust the rates for not having a cook to order breakfast every morning and no dinner receptions.
I need a consensus. Has everyone been staying at the host hotel, with the breakfast option being shut down, or have you cancelled and stayed elsewhere? If so, anyone have some suggestions of a good place to stay? I have not cancelled at the hotel, but, I am considering it. I just need to...
Are you staying at the host hotel? I have been contemplating cancelling with them and seeking a different location. Any thoughts? Do you know if anyone else has stayed at the Embassy Suites or if they went somewhere else? IF so, what would be a good consideration?
Where did you stay? I checked with the host hotel and the full breakfast order is still cancelled. Without the hotel kitchen open for ordering what you want, I don't feel like paying full price for the hotel. Any suggestions?
I fly out on the 30th. The dinner for the 1st of July was cancelled, so Ill have a free day. Anyone whose already attended have any suggestions for places to check out on my free day there? I cant wait for the 2nd and the 3rd. Bought mine on July 5th, 2019. Special order delivered to Sanderson...
