Lots of speculation on here!
Without sharing too much I talked with the seller a few weeks back and it's not too complicated-
He recently moved to CO from GA and ordered a Mach 1 from Granger. Trading it in is obviously the easiest solution and there's some tax incentives that way as well.
VIN matches current listing at Granger Ford - They've got it listed at $35k.
Pretty good deal, but S550 prices are on the drop with S650 coming up and used car prices going down in general!

2020 in Rapid Red with less than 15k miles, priced at $34k
The used car market is clearly correcting from the past couple years. Prices are coming down pretty quick...
Congrats! That's an awesome car to pick up with some cool history. The 777 address is a building shared by Roush and Ford Performance. More than likely it was a management vehicle for Ford Performance of some sorts. I may have even seen that car driving around Dearborn, but there's always a...
Here you guys go! Pretty cool sight seeing these two together. Glad they didn't have to sit outside during the Michigan winter.
2017 350R #H0012 and 2019 350 #PP0007
Congrats!! I test drove your car about a month ago and it drove great without issue. I have some pictures of it at the dealership next to PP0007 as well in the used car lot.
Congrats to you as well! That car was immaculate when I saw it at Jack Demmer. Make sure to grab some Ford Performance...
Wow, I missed that one! Beautiful car and only 1,600 miles to boot.
Very cool! I've never seen cars come with the history as a pre-production vehicle. Feel free to post up some pictures, I'm sure everyone would like to see it :like:
Full disclosure - this is not my car nor do I have any affiliation with the dealership.

What we have here is 2017 GT350R Chassis #H0012, with the first owner listed as Ford Motor...
Beautiful car! Wish I could swing it but I'm going to have to wait a bit longer. Sorry to hear about your friend
However a bit more info might help, others may be interested to know as well. I'm sure it's like new with that low of miles but for distance buyers -
Does this car have the...
FYI there was also one at the Village Ford showroom last week, I'm unsure if it is still on display or not. Village is located in Dearborn, MI and is the closest dealership to the product development headquarters.
Very true, it would have to be a very unlikely series of events to get that many chips. Like the transport truck following a gravel truck or something
Regardless, best of luck slik66!
Beautiful car that was clearly under extremely meticulous care. Best of luck with the sale! When I finally have enough garage space to pick one up you're the exact type of owner I'd want to buy from.
Also you're going to love the GT500, it's one hell of a car.
I completely understand, I'm the same way with my cars! It really doesn't make sense that the dealer and the new owner would both miss something so big. I just don't think the spoiler produces enough down force to pull up rocks from the ground and cause damage. It might be true but I'm trying to...
I agree! Very odd but that could be the case. I'm still not convinced it hasn't been happening on a transport truck though. These cars are (supposed to be) loaded back-first when transported to dealers.
I think you're on the right track with your plan now. Don't worry about what happened since new (your car still has low miles) and start tracking any oil consumption now.
Personally I'd do an oil change to ensure myself it has the correct 5W-50 weight oil. Otherwise get out there and drive!
