I went with the Steeda H-pipe, no other exhaust mods. Sounds fantastic, just a nice bump in each mode but quiet is still quiet enough to not be an asshole in the wee hours of the morning.

Typically, your insurance follows the car. There are exceptions, of course, but as a general rule, if you insure your car and let a friend drive it, your insurance is considered primary if they get into an accident. You did say "isn't authorized" though, which would be one of those exceptions...
