For those of you wondering why I would get rid of such a great car, it was tough but I had to make room for my 1964 1/2 convertible that I had in high school. I had sold it to my dad to pay for college. He passed away 3 years ago and I was going to get that car again. I just got it back from...
When I owned 1596 I had just started working on a spreadsheet with all 1964 50th Anniversary cars. It has a lot of blanks in it but it is a start. I am posting it here so anyone is free to take it over. I used the map of the dealers that received the cars that was on this forum as a starting...
#643 Sold at Mecum Dallas this week for $51,700
Not sure what was so special about it to bring that price...

Not true about the warranty if they have never been sold. I bought my 50th anniv. car just over a year ago new from the dealer and I received the full 3/36 factory warranty that started the day I took possession of the car.
I can pretty much guarantee they probably won't take $35K for it unless they want to sell it at at loss. Only warranty work has been to replace the battery less than a year ago. I bought it new off the showroom floor in March 2019. The car only has 400 miles on it and still has close to 2...
They originally had it posted for $37,500 when it was first listed. You can tell them you saw that it was originally at that price and they will do at least that. They have had it since March 28th when I traded.
My former car (#1596, Wimbledon White - Automatic) is available for sale in Gainesville, Texas. It has only 418 miles on it. I hated to sell it but needed a pickup and also had to make room for my dad's 1964 1/2 Convertible...
I have a set of original floor mats that came out of a 50th Anniversary Limited Edition car that I would be willing to sell. No original packaging. Just the floor mats. They were in the car a couple months for a few hundred miles. No noticeable wear on them. $60 plus shipping.
Great to hear that! That is really nice that you gave you those promo items. They will make some really neat keepsakes to keep with the car. I bought a 50 year banner and a few other items to go with my car.
What car number did you get?
Mike
I think I can help you with this. I just went through the same process a few months ago when I purchased our car new in March 2018 from the dealer. Ford will send the kit directly to you. The dealer is supposed to send something (I'm not sure what) to Ford saying that you bought the car and...
I was missing my Autographed photo for my Wimbedon White car too. If anyone has an extra or is willing to part with one I am looking for one.
I have contacted the dealer and Ford Customer Service and have not had any luck trying to get a replacement.
Thanks!
