As far as lap times GT350<SS1LE<GT350R
With a gap more or less significant depending of the track...Pretty sure PP2=GT350 as far as laptimes...time will tell...
Guys,
As usual you are comparing apple to orange in term of 1/4 times. Motortrend times are on a non prepped surface, a normal road. On a prepped surface a C7 will do a lot better, because despite having big fat tyres, starting is not easy. So on the drag strip on a prepped surface a C7 is a...
The one thing which annoyed me a lot on the Mustang was the driving position. You sit ON the car in a Mustang, compared to IN the car with the Camaro/Corvette
I would even say that with the seat as low as possible in the Mustang I still felt I was sitting on a stool...
So you know, before I had my 2018 Mustang, I had a 2017 Camaro 2.0T for 10 month. I had small issues with the 3/4 rear visibility. But with this one, perhaps because of the Recaro seats, my driving position is perhaps different and I have absolutely no issues with visibility. I see really well...
Just sold my 2018 GT PP1 for a SS 1LE. Visibility is not an issue at all. I have absolutely no issues, I don't know where the fuss is coming from... People don't know how to setup their mirror or use akward driving positions ??
What I can tell you guys is that I switched from a 2018 GT PP1 M6 to a 2017 Camaro SS 1LE and there is absolutely no comparisons possible in term of handling and driving feel. The Camaro is miles better....Really ! Straight line is similar in absolute numbers, but the Camaro feels way faster...
I managed to get rid of all the noises of my cars, the cylinder walls scratching I saw with my borescope (not a lot of you guys did it BTW).
How ? I sold it then bought a Camaro SS 1LE...Bye Ford...:brokenheart:
Same here, I did the US driving test with the Camaro in 2017, no faults at all...I still turn my head because it is required... but like I said several time you don’t see a lot on the 3/4 rear and have to rely more on mirrors
Yeah, I've driven in France 17 years (which is way more challenging than the US and by far), 1.5 years in the US, did so far around 50 roadcourse trackdays/HPDE, no crash, no accident whatsoever...
I must be a real danger for the others...
In the Camaro I was still giving a quick...
This doesn’t make any sense, he should have put the real power band. Stock gen 2 coyote doesn’t rev a lot higher than the LT1 (6600 vs 6800) so first one is right.
Then he should have continued the scale with the real rpm limit of each power pack. His graph like is it is misleading, making you...
Hi,
I don't think your graphs are true.
PP3 power pack decrease significantly the torque under 5000 rpm, and max torque is lower than PP2
There is no way PP3 has more power below 4500-5000 rpm even than a stock LT1. Your graph shows PP3 which more power even at 2000 rpm which is a real...
Same for me, visibility in the Camaro never bothered me. I heard a lot about it and when I test drove the one I bought later I didn't strike me as a deal breaker at all. Yes the 3/4 rear is bad, just use your mirrors....
Of course !
Go make a jump in TSB repair section.....
Youtube Vblog can be a good indication of how cars are holding in time provided the owners keep them long enough.
And unless you I'm not a Ford biased fan, I have a 2017 Corvette GrandSport also and had a Gen6 Camaro before the...
You don’t see 5 of 6 youtubers having their cars bought back, at the shop for 3 month...I see more Youtube videos of 2018 Mustang issues in 6 month than for the Camaro in 2.5 years...
Guys,
You shouldn't make comments about Camaro quality when the 2018 Mustang blows engine and transmission like nothing else before it....
Camaro has issues, but they mostly are minor compared to the one Ford has...
