My 2017 GT Premium was totaled back in March. I was stopped at a light, got rear-ended and then pushed into a truck in front of me. When I hit the truck in front of me, the knee airbag popped. As I recall, I had @ $22,000 in estimated damage to my Mustang, and Geico totaled it and paid out @...
I think you are going to be in for a fight with the insurance company for a substantial amount for diminished value. Your accident mainly looks cosmetic. I would certainly try, but I doubt you will find it worth it if you have to secure an attorney. I researched this last month when my 2017 GT...
Looks like it still has all the visibility issues and cramped interior. When is GM going to wake up and realize that is their biggest issue with this car. I think they would have been better off using the second generation Camaro as the retro baseline rather than the first generation.
For what's it worth, I have a 2017 GT Premium, auto, 3.15 axle ratio. I have been tracking my fuel economy since I purchased the car:
63 fill ups.
calculated mpg: 17.27 mpg
computer mpg: 18.26 mpg
I estimate my city/highway percentage on each fill up: estimated 59% city/41% highway
As a former Tacoma and Ranger owner, I can honestly tell you that the reason the Tacoma became popular is that it was superior in just about every aspect. Although I like my Mustang, there are times I do miss my Tacoma. I can't say that I miss the Ranger though.
Not with Progressive.
Also on this topic, I would hold off on filing a claim with your insurance company, unless you absolutely have to. A year ago, I had a girl try to cut across 3 lanes to do a left turn at a light. Needless to say, she did not see my 2008 Rav4 and hit me on the passenger...
Nick, I can totally understand how someone doesn’t feel comfortable with dealing with the hassle of buying a car with a lien. Also, I agree with you on paying cash. But, if I found a decent used car, and was uncomfortable with dealing with the lien, I would not hesitate to take out car loan with...
Banks and car dealers do this all the time and the process is easy.
#1 handle the loan - The Buyer needs to contact the sellers bank with the loan number and the vin to verify the loan and get the 10-day payoff. The buyer gets an official bank check for the payoff amount that will be sent to...
Just Check Kelly Blue Book on that Mercedes. Look at a 4 year old one and you will see that they do not hold their value well at all. In 4 years, that Mercedes would depreciate more than the total cost of my 2017 GT. They are great cars, but they are geared towards a totally different market...
