Sorry it took so long to reply, I keep forgetting to check back! I was figuring I'd go with absolute black and hope for the best. Was just worried that the parts being so close together would be very noticeable if it was different enough.
I'm looking to buy an aftermarket spoiler and would like it to match the factory black tail light panel. Problem is I don't know what color black that is. Is it a factory color option like Ebony or Absolute Black, or just a generic gloss black? Company on ebay I'm planning to buy from only...
5.11 was not available to download until now as I've been checking for updates pretty frequently. I bought my 17 gently used in August and it came with 5.10. I've now downloaded the update but have yet to install until I hear some more feedback. Mine currently doesn't do anything "weird" so I...
Just an update and in response to all those saying that it has terrible range. I finally got my new chamberlain openers installed and programmed to homelink. Both work fine from curbside and maybe a little further. Also has the same range at my parents house with their craftsman.
To the OP, do you think an 8" sub would fit from the top of the deck without major modification or do you think it would have to be mounted from the bottom as you did? Thanks for any info.
Wow... I'm a newer member to the board but had done quite a bit of research amongst various threads and figured the programmer was the easier option than me trying to learn how to code for free.:frusty: I know the website does mention the VIN being required but I only dealt with him via Email...
Just read through this whole thread on my lunch break. Has me a bit weary. I recently purchased a programmer/harness from OEMRadio within the past month and he was great with communication. It can be purchased here https://www.infotainment.com/products/ford-aftermarket-amplifier-audio-harness...
Was able to find the correct visor cap on ebay for $5 so that's on the way. I also was able to test the opener today by programming it to my parents garage. Took a few tries and a youtube video because the instructions in the owners manual miss a vital step of actually pushing the button on...
So I picked up a used set of homelink visors off ebay a couple weeks ago for $45. I just got inside from installing it which took me 10-20 minutes (because I dropped the clip cover between the seat and the door). I haven't tested the functionality yet because I don't have openers installed yet...
Bringing this thread back from the dead! So I've been seeing this thread mentioned throughout various threads and just read through it myself. I also watched some of your youtube videos on the subject. I've visited the website for the company you work for https://www.infotainment.com/, but...
I just don't understand why they have to replace any of the A/C controls. As far as I know, the only thing integrated into all that A/C wise is the fact that the fan speed lowers when you make a phone call but that's a feature I'm sure we could all deal with not having. Is there something else...
Base/300A
Something I'm still not clear on after reading through many threads and maybe I missed it, but does the base/300A ACM require any modifications? I've seen so much info on the 9/12 speaker systems but not much on the base.
I've considered not running the mid and just using them as a 2 way setup, but I've never had a vehicle with a 3-way setup so kinda determined to use them as intended and get what I paid for ya know? Just means I either have to modify my current door panels or swap to premium panels to keep stock...
I realized I left that out after my post. Since I assumed and have since confirmed that there is a hole in the inner door skin, the only simple/clean method I've come up with is finding a set of premium door panels and swapping them to maintain the stock look. I've priced them out to be between...
