I appreciate the offer TJ. Unfortunately, I already have the springs and have an appointment to get them installed on Thursday. I just wanted to make sure there isn't anything else I need before he puts it up on the lift.
Thanks!
Got it. That's helpful. While I only expect about a 1" drop, they advertise them as 1.5" upfront and 1.3" in the rear.
Is there a BMR cradle lockout kit that works for convertibles? I looked on American Muscle and they exclude verts from the one they sell.
Thanks
I got MBRP 3" Race with black ends installed. They look killer, and sound phenomenal. Unfortunately, there is some serious drone. I'll probably have to take them off as the wife can't stand it.
I ordered a set of Vogtland lowering springs for my convertible. Do I need anything else to install these? I keep getting conflicting advice. I called Vogtland and they said nothing other then an alignment is needed. Others are telling me I should get a camber kit (I couldn't find one for the...
For reference on price:
Earlier this year, I looked at a F-150 supercrew 4x4 lariat MSRP was $55k, the best they would do is $46,900 plus tax and tags.
I'm willing to do $35k max on a truck that is just going to get beat up. Even on the used ones they are asking close to what you can buy new...
you have to tilt the base when installing so that the back of it sits against the seatback, not the seat base. Basically, you can't lay it flat, it has to be tilted so you don't have the baby's next flexing forward.
I have a baby seat in mine that we occasionally take our 6 month old out in for...
I work from home and then fly out to client sites when needed. For personal use I drive on average about 3k miles per year. This is spread over two vehicles. Here comes the kicker, I buy a new car and trade in the old one every 6-18 months.
I'm trying to break the cycle. It's not easy.
Just put these on. Will get better pics this weekend. I feel that it helps complete the right look. Should come from the factory with functional side scoops.
I’m sure many would disagree with me. I just can’t bring myself to pay MSRP on a vehicle, let alone additional dealer mark up. If that means I won’t have the latest and greatest then so be it.
As consumers we should be a smarter group and not allow crap like this to continue and instead...
Both the 15-17 and 18 look nice, but I feel like the 18 body style is more feminine. It has nicer curves and looses the angular masculinity of the previous generation.
And I 100% agree about not wanting a hard top. I had one in the G37 and not only was it a constant feat that the pump would...
