Should be good for daily driving, unless you lower your car significantly. Also it depends on how you rotate the resonator, since the cross section is an ellipse. It will take some efforts to calm down the beast :D
The resonator is around 0.5~1 inch lower than the original pipe, which I don't think is a big deal. I haven't lowered my car and no problem with any bumps.
I didn't notice the change in tone, but a significantly decrease in cabin drone. Based on my understanding the tone is mostly affected by resonators and mufflers.
The link to the video is on the second line of my post.
Thank you for the feedback. Have you sold your MBRP Race?
Yes I would image if I change back to stock exhaust I will feel like I'm deaf since the cabin will be too quiet. Have no idea why MBRP can be so drony, maybe that's the reason why it's cheap
Ordered a pre-cut woven grill mesh from CustomCarGrills, and I'm so pleased with their packing and quality.
Now I'm waiting for the glue to secure. Can wait to reinstall the bumper cover tomorrow!
And BTW is there any way to recover the pictures/videos in your build thread? All of them are shown like "please update your account to enable 3rd part hosting"
Just too allergic to the drone lol
Glad you have a positive impression on MAP. If I go MAP I will definitely have a catted for a even milder sound, and hopefully less drone.
Envy! 100mph will definitely be pulled over in US.
Wait are you saying MAP resonated exhaust changes tone...??? OMG I'm thinking about getting a MAP system...What the hell should I put on my car then T.T
"on a cold or rainy day it gets boomy and droney in that range" OMFG It will always be cold/rainy days in Seattle's winter.
BTW you set...
New to the forum and so happy to find so many enthusiasts who love their cars and are passionate about mods!
I own a 17 Ecoboost and I love it. I remember first several weeks after I bought it, I kept sitting inside the car after turn the engine off just want to smell the leather. :D...
Agree, but the point is that, sometimes we don't have chance to hear them in person, so that we will likely make some expensive mistakes buying drony exhaust.
I see Mustangs on the road every day, but I really have no idea if there are local events to gather Mustang owners together. So it's...
Most people buy MBRP mainly for the price and sound from sound clips. But it differs a lot between sound clips and real world sound, and between sound outside and inside the car.
I have installed my MBRP Race and catted dp. When the first time I went pick up my car I could not sit inside for...
