Also note he is a 18, 12:1 compression vs 11:1 for the 15-17, and what are believed to be better flowing heads on the 18's so will make same or better power at less boost.

I pretty much did the same. 17x4.5/17x10.5 for drag duty and swap the fronts to matching 18x8.5 for street. Its really a good option and I didn't want to be "another white mustang on Welds"
