  4. JLT CAI + SCT Tuner X4 FS

For warranty reasons I'll be switching to the PP. Intake has seen about 5,500-6,000 miles. Intake that is on it is a little dirty. So I have a replacement filter that is brand new, never used, and unopened. I also have some brand new never used replacement parts for the MAF housing...
  5. BBQ Tick After Oil Change...

Yep the classic BBQ tick. Mine does the same. I also have a chattering noise that I can hear inside my vehicle. Dealer will be "examining" it next week. I'll probably go the buyback route as well. The fact that Ford hasn't made a TSB about this troubles me.
  6. BBQ Tick After Oil Change...

I'll let my dealer know. I'm drafting up a whole document to send the service advisor or manager explaining the symptoms and causes. Luckily having a tune won't be an issue (I have the PP2 now), as this issue has occurred long before any modifications (and is documented as well). Hopefully I get...
  7. BBQ Tick After Oil Change...

Was that the result of yours? Spun bearing?
  8. BBQ Tick After Oil Change...

So, I have this exact same issue. It developed after my first oil change. Went away after 500 miles so I didn't think much of it. After my second oil change, it did it again. Took it to my dealer, and they said it was my "transmission lines knocking around". They ziptied them and said it was...
  9. Which route: 100 octane, or e85

That's all true. I think I remember seeing that the 100 octane will be around 6 to 7 a gallon (not sure how accurate) which is much more expensive. E85 seems more realistic.
  10. Which route: 100 octane, or e85

So two local gas pumps are now selling VP 100 octane (which is rare in CA), as well as e85. I live in CA so the highest octane we have is usually 91. I currently have an SCT Tuner with VMP tunes. Looking at requesting a fuel tune from them, but wondering which route I should take? Currently...
  11. Central Coast California

In terms of the Mustang show, SLO-Stangs is apparently hosting a Mustang show again in October according to their page. Not sure exactly when yet but I'll post it when I find out. I'll email them and see.
  12. Central Coast California

Haha yeah man it's me, what's up Tom. Didn't know you were on this forum. That was a fun cruise a few weeks ago. I'll be at the cars and coffee Saturday morning, then I'll be heading to the Exotic Cars Meet later in the day in Monterey.
  13. Central Coast California

The 1 is a fun road to cruise on, my club and I go down it all the time for pictures. I've seen a blue GT350 6g driving around San Luis Obispo, wondering if he's on here. There's a bunch of shows this week. One is Cars and Coffee, this Satuday at 7AM, in Pismo Beach (863 North Park Blvd)...
  14. Central Coast California

Anyone on here hail from the central coast area of California (San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, Santa Barbara, Monterey)? New member here and trying to gather some other mustangs for some shows that are coming up in August/September. There's a Mustang specific car show coming up near San Luis Obispo.
  15. Engine noise, like a salsa shaker

Mine makes this as well (just like the video a few replies up), along with my buddies s550 5.0. Pretty much every S550 5.0 in my "Mustang club" makes it, to some extent. Beginning to think it's "normal". It's been doing it since 233 miles (when I received the car) all the way up to now, at...
