Enzo, no, sorry, did not mean that to come across as your dad bought your car. I might have misread your post, but I thought your were previously looking for a gt3 for your dad (or maybe it was a hellcat or some other car, sorry I don't remember exactly). I was simply saying, in-artfully, that...
Enzo, I did see where you got crucified on Rennlist, but in all fairness, you asked about "sourcing a 991.2 gt3 at MSRP." There are only 3 million threads on that topic and 3 million people trying to buy a gt3 at msrp. You kinda asked for it.
There are no doubt some d-bags on rennlist, as...
I did not post in the classified and it sold before I got any pics. Maybe that was the problem..dunno, but it disappeared completely with no explanation or request for changes.
The classified section of this forum appears to be a cluster to me. But, maybe I just do not view it properly.
The item number for BMR is as follows: BMR-FC003. They are described as camber bolts, front, 2.5 degrees offset, 2015-2017 mustang. Hope that helps.
Car handled well today. And alignment was just right for a medium speed (probably solo 1) autocross 1 mile track. I had no tire rollover and...
-2 was the max I could get out of the BMR suspension bolts. Gonna see how it does for a while. If its not enough, then camber plates next. Will let you know how it does after tomorrow.
Yes, but mostly the wear pattern on the tire. I suspect a hard track down will demolish the outside of the tire under the current camber settings. But we will see.
Thanks for all the insight. problem solved. I changed the Toe in to 5/16's. No more rear end stepping out under high speed hard braking. Also installed the BMR suspension bolts and increased camber (even past the ford specs). Car drives like its on rails now. Gonna try this for a bit and...
Good thoughts, I agree Zombo and Etchead. But my kids rarely ride back there. My car isnt a daily driver - I just wanted the seatbelts in case I happened to be driving and had to go pick up the kiddos in a pinch. I'd rather they ride in my SUV.
Nice work! Wheels and tires look great.
On the back seat, call me crazy, but I only installed the seatbelts (and not the entire rear seat kit). Has worked great so far. Kiddos seem well strapped in back there. And I like the idea (minor I know) of the weight savings from the lack of rear...
Well, that is great info. I can now eliminate one variable. I'll stick with the pad set up (R12 f R10 r) and work on track alignment. I still have street alignment. I wanted to see how tire wear and times improved from street to track alignment. But, maybe I'll skip that as I do not want to...
Ha. Very true Nastang. But, thats part of the fun..."fixing" something thats not broken.
The OEM pads are really good. But, I want a more aggressive pad for the track. I suspect the car well do just fine as soon as I figure out the tail wagging.
I just installed G LOC R12 front and R10 brake pads on my GT350R. Also replaced brake fluid with Castrol SRH Racing fluid. Car has 1400 miles. I bedded-in the pads the past two days. Then today, I did some testing from 100-0 and 60-0. 60-0 seemed normal and the car seemed balanced. Good...
I'm in Little Rock. Man, I sure we had some sort of road course in Arkansas. I was at Barber Motorsports in Leeds, Alabama two weeks ago. Have the autox in Blytheville on Sept 9. But a few of us are looking at renting a track in Hallet OK or Memphis for a day, if you are interested...
MY 2017 AG GT350R:

QA1 carbon fiber drive shaft installed
Auto Blip installed
Carbon Fiber hood, waiting on on paint match and stripe then install on car
Lithium Anti gravity battery...
