I must be crazy. I thought I read on page 1 two people saying they some ding (I thought it was the one you get when opening the doors) was REALLY LOUD after changing this setting. It must be another setting in another thread.

Any reported issues with the door ding getting louder like was reported on page 1?

Thanks, that was it. That's a very short list of changes, and aside from the piped-in noise, nothing I consider worth getting the tool for. Are there others not in that file? I'll scan the sticky thread.

I'm confused - do you need to move/drop the transmission or not to install the MGW? I don't have access to a lift, nor do I want to do anything with the transmission, so I'd assumed I'd have to have an MGW installed at a shop somewhere.
