I had Bridgestone RE-71Rs mounted at a perfomance shop with a touchless Corghi system, and they had no problems.
Although at one point the guy doing the job walked into the lobby with one of my wheels and said. "Are these your wheels?" "These things are light!"
Even Porsche and Jaguar are getting ready to go electric. I may some day have an electric daily driver, but I will always have a gas powered car for fun.
Yep, that was me. I understand the rush. One of the benefits of a morning event is that you have time to do other things afterwards, plus I know you aren't exactly local to the DC area.
Yes, I will definitely be at the 10/1 event, but I do have a company thing I'm doing right after. Hope to...
I like BMR front bar, and I'm also at full stiff. I feel like I'm more planted in the slaloms. I didn't do the install though. I also haven't done any track time with it yet.
Your tires still look pretty good. I'm looking to replace mine before much longer.
I say stick with the GT350. If you were you going to really drive the car, then no question go with the R. I think if you really wanted it anyway you wouldn't even be asking us. Appreciate what you have and enjoy your GT350.

I also came close to getting a C7 Grand Sport, but the 350 really spoke to me. I kind of always had the Mustang bug lurking inside after riding in my cousins '69 Mach 1 when I was still in high school.
I just barely started using iRacing. The focus is mainly on the driving and less so on the graphics. The default settings give me zero feedback on the wheel, and I still need to adjust those.
Also competition plays a major part, and there's a lot of league play available. There are even...
I also like Grand Turismo. I have a full seat with a Logitech G29 wheel. I know it's not the same as the real thing, but a lot of the basic driving principals carry over. I know it vastly shortened the learning curve for me when I started autocrossing.
The real world also can even help you...
It's slightly awkward removing the dipstick, but I haven't had a problem. Then again mines always at the top. I usually check it two or three times in a row to make sure it's consistent.
