Ah yeah I see what you're saying. By unplugging the dyno plug, it largely eliminates that effect. I'd assume most of the ABS sensing is tied into the front wheel speed sensors vs the rear? I'm no expert, but I do know what has worked over the past few years, and this has been working great.
I don't get on the forums much anymore, but I do get a lot of people on social media asking me about the car who were directed there from here, so I might as well update for posterity.
I did an inline hydro e brake setup. I don't really like the way hydro's look, but it's hard to deny their...
It doesn't affect the ABS. Ford dubbed it the "dyno plug" so when the rear wheel speed doesn't match the front, the car doesn't freak out.
IDK why you wouldn't want ABS in a drift car unless it's a fully dedicated track car, in which case, you'd probably be doing a full replacement on the pedal...
Man, I haven't updated this in over a year, but due to recent inquiries from instagram, I might as well document stuff here.
Still loving the car, and still trying to progress it for drifting. Here's an edit from last summer:
After that, the car took a back seat for a bit because my son...
Not a lot of changes lately other than some Roush side splitters. Just driving it and enjoying it. Cobb did come by one of our Club Loose Texas events and do a little feature on the event, me, and the car for a new web series which was cool!
Here's some slow mo shot on RED of me drifting that...
Took care of some maintenance stuff I've been putting off for a while now so I could finalize my tune. Tune is done and car is ripping.
The T Bird has been getting some love lately too.
New dual valve catch can setup from UPR with the factory PCV system removed
New BOV from GFB

They do, but they currently don't make any for our cars yet. These are Focus RS ones. I emailed them already and asked, and they said S550 mats are on the way.

Took it to the first event with the 2 way and 3.73 gears last weekend. I only brought one set of used tires, so I only got about 12-14 laps in, but GOD DAMN what a difference. I feel a lot more confident on transitions, knowing the diff will stay locked, and it's a lot smoother than it used to...
Got some more stuff done. Finally put my Kaaz 2 way in, and changed up the final drive from a stock 3.31 ----> 3.73.
Old Diff
New Diff
I also changed up the look of the rear bumper. I ripped off the old diffuser, which was made for the car and fit well, and bought a more aggressive one off...
I haven't updated in a while cause I haven't really had anything to do on the car lately. Which is nice. But hey, the bank didn't pay $20k for this car for me NOT to ruin it. So let's go.
Most of my spare time lately has been filled working on organizing and running local drift events. Me and...
We finally got all the front SPL suspension as well as cut knuckles on.
1. Rack spacers of course
2. Trim inner tie rods
3. Lots of extra room to go
4. Install FLCA
5. Bolt it all up and check clearances
6. Decent enough for a still daily driven car!

Here's my personal clip of my tomei expreme titanium exhaust. Cold start first followed by a warmed up rev to about 4k-4500 rpm. It's SUPER quiet while cruising, almost no drone on the highway.
Plus it weighs 13 lbs.
