Anybody still viewing this thread the cause of my random misfire ended up being the McLeod RST Clutch being installed/aligned improperly. I had the clutch replaced by an ACTUAL performance shop and havent seen the cel since. Allegedly if the clutch is out of alignment the crank wont be allowed...
UPDATE: Well ive replaced o2 sensors, extensions and the pcm! STILL GETTING THE p2251 code, we checked the wiring with a meter and there is signal. im running out of patience and options. Anybody have any ideas?
im having the same issue and just replaced the passenger side 02 sensor and the extension still have p2251 with the afr stuck on 14. Starting to wonder if its wiring related

Hey guys so quick update. Just checked my dtcs with the whipple flare tool and found a p0316 misfire detected on startup, (first 1000 revolutions) any ideas as to what that is? I dont have a p0315 just the p0316. Is that a crank relearn issue? I havent tried the relearn ywt, just wanted to wait...
what should i check to see if the code is actually working? Just with my sct tuner? ive done datalogging but am unsure how to check the tune. Is that something ford would have to do or Whipple? Sorry guys im kind of a newbie when it comes to anything more than datalogs.
Thanks, that would be awesome, i will email the logs ASAP. I originally had a custom n/a tune on the car but reverted back to stock during the whipple install to use their tune. i have a flare tool as well, but i like the sct for datalogging, i didnt think i could datalog with the whipple flare...
Trust me that shop will not touch my car again. im not gonna blast em, but i had a very unfortunate experience with them. Nothing worse than being constantly lied to by the "professionals" that worked on my vehicle, but thats a different thread for a different time
