I use an F150 with a Featherlite 3110 open trailer. It has been a great setup with previous cars, but the gt350 is pushing the limit on width. I would not use the CF wheels with this trailer as they would inevitably get curb rash at some point.
I used Reliable to ship my R and it was a great experience, no problems.
I also know that Ford trusted Reliable to ship a certain Le Mans winning GT car across the country to California if that helps as an endorsement.
Wanted to see what the opinion is on buying an extra set of TPMS sensors for my track wheels. I was just going to go ahead and do it, but wanted to see if it is really useful or not. Never had track wheels with TPMS before and I'm checking them manually almost every session anyway.
If so...
I just used this last week. If you check out as a guest and use your paypal account linked to a credit card, you can use it 4 times. I just got my set of 305/30/19's for $1252...not too shabby.
They just arrived yesterday and will get them mounted this week. If I didn't have an office move...
I really liked running NT01's when I had the Boss and would like to get back to this tire on my R. Was thinking about running a square set of 305 /30 R19 on the stock R wheels. Do you think that will work? I know the wheel sizes are staggered but I'm going to have to flip them on the rims at...

Everything I said about power is correct, accept for the conclusion. According to this:

It would appear peak acceleration occurs at peak torque.
Funny enough, that...
Torque is a unit of *work* (A force acting over a distance)
HP is unit of *power* (Work applied over a unit of time)
Power = Work (Torque) per unit time
The torque at any given RPM is only giving you the amount of work you are doing at an instant in time. Once you include the speed of...
Shortly after this thread started, I received shipping confirmation for the plates. They arrived 5 days later and are currently installed without any issues.
OP, sorry to hear what happened. Definitely a bummer.
I still can't decide if I am going to use the CF wheels for the street or the track. Was planning on getting another set of wheels for the street and only use the CF for the track. However, last track day a 997 GTS spun out in front of me...

Also, driving with ESP on can *sometimes* cause increased brake wear, especially if you are driving at the limit of the vehicle. The constant interaction around the racetrack (even when you don't know about it) can add unnecessary heat to the braking system.
Lol, this is turning into a great thread. :)
Maybe it would be better if I explain what I am 'feeling' after a long session. At Pacific Raceways, there are 4 main braking zones. The first one is flat with a terminal speed around 150mph to around ~60mph, second one is 100mph+ to around 30mph...
