I replaced my stock Pirelli's just shy of 20,000 mi, but they were really toast well before that. I only have a couple thousand miles on the Michelin's but they are so much better.
I don't agree. If you look at Ford's own Power Packs, Stage 1 is a filter in the stock air box, and a tune. LMR showed 15 hp and 18 lb/ft. gains. Stage 2 is the GT350 open intake and tune, and LMR showed 26 hp and 29 lb/ft improvement. I doubt that driving with the hood down, the closed box...
I feel certain that Ford knows a thing or two about its cars. Consider that they include the GT350 TB with the PP2 and PP3 and that the production Bullitt will come with the GT350 CAI and TB paired with a stock GT IM on the showroom floor. Tuners that say its a waste or can't get it to run...
I'm very curious about air ride too. I've heard the sales pitches and not a lot of negatives but I have concerns about the reliability due to the added complexity and I am more concerned with performance than appearance. Places like CJ's and American Muscle are trying to sell the "performance"...
