I have had Awe Touring cat back and now have Corsa Sport. Awe is very loud in the cabin compared to Corsa. I'm very happy with the Corsa.

How about installing a set screw where the sections connect?

No drone and is quiet when cruising at constant speed. However louder than I expected inside and out whenever you're on the gas. Was not the system for me as a daily driver with much stop and go driving. I feel calling the system Touring is a bit misleading, sport would be more appropriate.

I had opened a support case with AWE regarding the unexpected decibel level in the cabin. I was referred back to the place of purchase (American Muscle) when I inquired about returning the product. I didn't pursue returning the system to American Muscle as I don't have the original packaging.

I agree with previous posts, interior sound level is considerably louder than expected with AWE Touring. Cruising is fine. Loud inside and out under any acceleration.

I'll probably look at something else after I recover from this. :headbonk:

Noise is from the rear trunk area. I had thought about dynamat or something like that but do not want to invest anymore $.

The sound in the cabin was too loud whenever accelerating normally from a stop. It was loud enough to drown out the radio or a phone call. Basically a period of thumping or drum sound. No issue when maintaining a constant speed. I have a lot of stop and go driving and the sound wasn't acceptable...

Yes this is AWE Touring cat back. I had stock exhaust, nothing to compare to other than previous 2006 GT with GT500 axle backs. The AWE cat back was installed for about 1 week. The system was louder than I expected particularly inside the car. I felt too much for a daily driver.

The cat back was quite a bit louder than I had expected.

Yeah, was quite a bit louder than expected. Particularly inside the car. No complaints about the system itself. Perfect fit, high quality and great sound. Just a bit too loud for daily driving in my opinion.
