Took the wife's GT to the Smokies for our honeymoon. Hit the tail of the dragon while there, and couldn't pass the chance for some great picture opportunities along the way.
The 9.65 was done with the stock rear tires, skinnies mounted, and the race fuel tune. Press release mentioned that it ran a 9.90 with the stock 315s up front and the 91oct tune.
I agree, I've always respected the 5.0's, but I honestly didn't expect to go under a 12.5 on the stock 235 all seasons lol! And the DA looked to be just over +200 for this run.
My bolt-on 5.7 didn't fare as well. I was able to pull a 1.84 60' rolling into it,, but it just doesn't have the top...
Same here, I really just want a good baseline run. I will probably make a few runs on street tires too. Getting my personal car down from a 13.48 to a 12.09 was fun, but it's looking like it'll take a lot less to get a 5.0 down to and below a 12.0X..and I'm okay with that lol
