Driving it would be fun. Best of all, provide countless hours of conversation. You can recount the crazy things that happened at every family gathering and work party for years to come. Your friends and family are tired of hearing about valve spring rates, redlines, bore spacing, 0-60 times and...
There is a tool for every job. Choose wisely, do your best and be content with results.
But be careful thinking you're buying a Mustang based on logical daily driver.
Used 160 thermostats on several makes & models but never tried on my '11 Coyote or Voodoo.
They do work. Some cars I reprogrammed fans, some did not and some had mechanical fans. They work with or without adjusting fan. I didn't change for purpose of reducing temp during traffic so...
Regulates temp at 160 instead of 180.
Can you share a pic? Curious if it looks like website pic.
I say go for it. If it look 1/10th as good as their website pic then it's very high quality.
What type? Normal type... same as Coyote
Two sensors, one on each bank of the V, mounted under the intake manifold directly to the block. (18 Coyote PFDI has 4 sensors)
Don't need break-in period. Drive however you want. If you want it to last drive normal. Driving crazy at 100 mile is no different than driving crazy at 20,000 miles.
As a bonus bet the MagnaRide rides even smoother than GT350. I'm talking slightly softer just to maintain correct handling balance. Probably same hardware and electronics with different tuning and slightly softer springs to match the slightly skinner tires. A tunable aftermarket computer would...
Pictures of '18 digital gauge display shows 7,400 redline (another has 6,500 ecoboost?). 6,600 to 7,400 would be a significant jump but have no direct effect on daily driving. Especially with driving style that makes '17 GT feel faster than GT350.
driven both.
Good plan.
I would miss wider front fenders and better steering. Other than that, I wouldn't miss Voodoo for daily driving. Price wise, GT350 does have a lot of smaller upgrades, other than engine. In total on the aftermarket would cost more than 12k. So it's almost like engine is...
That is a good point. Of course, there must be a limit. If block has a scratch or something from the factory. But I'm 100% confident a crack rises to the level of manufacturing defect. But as a thought experiment it's a valid point.
Yup would be nice if voluntary. Number of crashes would not decrease. It would just shift the cost to responsible individuals. They would pay three times more. "They" being middle class. Poor, rich, young and crazy wouldn't pay.
I would be in favor of having insurance savings accounts. You...
Insurance is one of the most tightly regulated industries.
Insurance is the private sector's form of socialism. Everyone pays in but only those who need take out. Sure you take a cut to pay employees and investors because without employees and investors it wouldn't exist. And regular Joe...
