Mine is not yet peeling but it creaks and makes squeeky noises sometimes during shifting. Drives me nuts. Would love to find a metal replacement piece somewhere.
+1 on exhaust before lighting or any other mods. I did mak xpipe with slp lm2 to add volume with civilized deep tone and its far more enjoyable to drive now. Also did bmr sp080 springs and love the stance now! :headbang:

Last week I installed maks res delete xpipe and slp lm2, and although it sounds reaaly good and deep, I'm kinda missing a bit of rasp and the pops and burbles on overrun. So really considering this with the slp lm2 still in place.
Is this possible? Has anyone tried it?
I know theres a FRPP boss style xpipe already, but its crazy expensive for an xpipe in my opinion.
I just really love the sound of the boss hpipe with side exhaust and wonder if it would fit with minor modification on the s550.
