At the first glance those pieces look like bullet resonators (Dynomax for comparison). I'm not an expert though, so don't take my word for it. :)

Any idea how much quieter? I mean, the regular Touring system isn't exactly loud either, so it might be that the EC-Type is barely louder than stock and not really 'worth it' per se, legality aside.

So there is the Borla Touring system, and there's the EU-certified equivalent Borla Touring EC-Type At the first (and second) glance from outside they look exactly the same, so I was wondering if there is any difference in sound level, tone, components used etc?

I was wondering if I could ask you guys who installed Ford Racing EU-Spec Touring (or Borla Touring - not the same, but should be close enough?) to post a sound clip? I'm still on the fence whether I should get the completely-legal FRPP by Borla EC, or rather go for not-really-legal Corsa Sport.
