Will we have traditional silver wheels as an option or will the gt500 come like the gt350 in that we can have any color we want as long as it’s black:D. Insiders?
Stupid question about tuning. Since the PP 2 is essentially a canned tune from Ford Racing, how does one take advantage of other bolt-ons such as an intake, LTs, and a good exhaust? Don’t those mods require further tuning to get the best out of them?
It appears a DCT is the tranny of choice for the GT500. I’ve driven several PDK Porches and have no issues with them vs a traditional auto. But on the other hand I’ve driven several different BMWs and Benzes with their versions and was left unimpressed. I hope ford can make one as good as the...
Since we're left with nothing but speculation for another day, let's get hypothetical. So if the next special edition, whatever it's called, is essentially a blown GT350 Voodoo will you trade up?
This is kind of an addendum to Voodoo's ITB idea. With that out of the question, is there potential to improve airflow with either an aftermarket IM or a good port & polish? It would be good if the aftermarket tuners were developing something but I haven't heard of any doing so. How about a...
I'm a little confused as to the available seat options in 2017 models. When I build my own on Ford's site I see that the recaros come stock. I want the standard seats and when I select the option it appears that the seats are full leather, which is what I want. However, when I see photos of...
I recall a previous thread noting a stealth gray color but it appeared to be rumor. Anyone know what the new colors will be for sure? I'd like to see a very shiny black. I've always liked the black on Mercedes Benz cars.
For sale is a 1990 25th Anniversary model Mustang GT hatchback.
--Blue exterior with gray cloth interior. Both in perfect condition. Car was professionally resprayed about 8 years ago. Clean, clean, clean. Power windows and locks work great. Ice cold AC.

Is JLT the only intake available for the GT350? Not that it's a bad thing. Just wondering if their are alternatives like the regular GT model. I like the Corsa closed-box system but I don't see anything for the GT350.
I know the GT350 is not designed to be a drag car but I've noticed it's only a few tenths quicker than regular GTs even though it has more torque and almost a hundred more horses. My guess is that it's limited by lack of launch traction. And for that matter I'm guessing the regular GT is also...
Saw my first GT350 on the road this morning. It was just a brief look as it was exiting the highway rather briskly ;). It looked more aggressive than regular GTs but I couldn't really identify all of the changes. I believe the hood is different but are there other changes to the bumpers...
Went to the local dealer this weekend and drove the only GT they had - a base automatic. If I buy one it will have to be a manual with the PP for the other goodies. I liked much about the car but I was let down by the suspension - mostly the front from what I could tell. Just driving normally...
Has anyone owned both or have a fair amount of seat time to compare these? I know they're both fast and handle well but I'm more interested in a comparison of ride quality/comfort and road/tire noise when just going about daily business and driving in normal traffic.
Been reading a lot about 1/4 times, 0-60, and mods to improve both. What struck me is that it seems the times should be better even on a stock car. 430 hp in a 3,800 lb car should be faster imho. Are the relatively slow times due to poor traction at launch or is the hp:weight ratio the bigger...
I tried to be a good newbie and search before asking this question ;) but I didn't quite find my answers. My goal is to get a GT to 500 whp without FI (I really don't need/want more than that). But that leads to these questions: (1) without FI, can one even get to 500 whp without sacrificing...
