Hi,
I am going through very similar decision process myself. Wanting something around 550HP WHP , being still reliable and not willing to spend any extra $ on repairs because of my mods (I don't have an issue with initial costs though).
I would like to get Whipple, because it is not so common...
Thanks for the photo. It is definitely a revised version or different supplier as I have that three piece front lip (attaching img) mentioned also in some posts earlier - which for me really was a disappointment :(.
However I'll try to have a look if it could be fixed the same way.
BTW...
kingstang - thanks, that looks really like stock. I wonder if the bumper cover I got from Ikon is actually the same as you have, or if there was any design update like with the front lip (I got mine this March).
The attached photo shows how it was installed by the shop. No surprise that I ran...
Hello guys,
please has anybody made the front bumper cover to work with PP belly pan?
I was test driving after the installation (done by body shop) yesterday and unfortunatelly the bellypan couldn't take that much airflow and broke loose on the front from side to side - very unpleasant...
For all those who wonder about the fitment
For all those who wonder about the fitment of Anderson Composites fiberglass fenders. It is not GT350, but the other version.
I would rate the fitment 80%. It's OK except the top part between doors, A pillar and hood. My body shop is really clueless...
Well, if you use the same diameter + width + tires you have in the papers and avoid any accident (and potential argument with insurance company) I guess you would be fine.
I don't believe cops would be looking for certification of the wheels as long as they are what they should be (and I don't...
Hi laardilla,
congrats on receiving your pony :-) Since when have you been waiting? Thanks for the links, I've found some wheels here: http://www.asc-tuningimports.cz/category/alu-kola/173 they have at least Niche Essen.
But all of these are without any EU certification:frusty:
I really...
laardilla - were you able to get the wheels? Have you gone through all the trouble with formalities like individual certification or have you simply skipped this step? :headbang:
I'm in the process of getting new wheelset too, but I am a bit struggling with the system :frusty:
Hi guys,
does anybody have any comparison between Borla resonator vs. Stock resonator?
I am well aware of weight savings but I am wondering what would be the difference in the sound (interior/exterior)?
Thanks.
Hi,
I haven't experienced any drone with the Sport axle-back. My lady would kill me if I do anything that would cause drone to our only car. We have done even some long 700km trips and it's perfectly fine.
When I was in a decision making process between CB and AB my local Mustang tuner said...
I have Sport AB with factory resonator and it's fantastic in my opinion ;) . I believe that it's not only about loudness but also about sound characteristics. I have had the opportunity to test drive Sport CB and it was WAY TOO raspy under acceleration in my opinion - (I am more "deep rumble"...
MustangNick
Hi, unfortunatelly I don't currently have any video that would do the exhaust real justice... subjectively it's really louder in person...
Anyway, here are couple low rpm revs:
here is cr*ppy video, but OK sound of acceleration on 1st gear up to approx. 2800rpm with throttle...
Finally my Sport axle backs have arrived and got installed :D I left the factory resonator in and must say that I am really happy with this setup. It sounds really nice & deep yet it is not raspy. When I first drove it last wednesday it was 200km trip after which I tought to myself that it's...
Hi guys,
thank you very much for all your insight ( BTW. nice ride AV80R ;) ).
The problem in Europe is that everything for Mustangs gets quite expensive with shipping, taxes and other fees - so forexample the difference between Catback and Axleback setups is approx. $1000 :headbonk:
As...
Hi all, sorry for reusing this thread - I just want to ask about differences between sport and touring variants.
I am just about to start modding my 2016 GT and would like to start with exhaust.
I love the look of this FRPP quad tip setup, but am unable to decide which route to take (touring /...
