It’s tedious but not hard to do with no damage. The grille is layered into a honeycomb and a smooth rectangular plate. The badge has three studs and passes through the honeycomb but in front of the smooth section, so you have to separate. There are three metal speed nuts holding the badge on...
I'm sorry to hear about Nigel, my condolences. He was a track dog, I'd usually look for him when I pass your trailer, and he was just so easy going and awesome. It warms my heart to know he will leave so many great memories behind.
Last time I looked at the cost was in 2017 or so, and I know they were $2600 and $2300 at the time. But Ford increased the price in 2018 - maybe too many people were buying them? No idea, but I never cared much :) Dated information.
If Tom says $5K, it's $5K.
No, they still cost 10K, and that's unlikely to change much. Carbon Revolution does have some aftermarket wheels, but you'd be looking at Ford to buy the GT350R wheels and those prices are easily found. It's a judgment call whether it's a good cost to buy or not buy the R carbon wheels, but the...
Not sure you really need a vote with choices that conservative. Can I vote yellow to match the calipers?
With the sandblasting these things get at Texas tracks maybe gloss would be a good one to avoid. You can't go wrong with satin black.
The tread rating is a government thing. It's the way you can see a 200 tread-wear rating on an RE71R, yet they are softer than another 200 tread-wear - which is used for classing purposes in autocross, so there's a reason to "cheat" and stay at a certain rating of 200. The tread-wear is...
All normal for a tech pack. Go look for the diff cooler under rear valence and a transmission oil cooler from the front passenger side lower grille to the transmission. Strut tower brace from stamped steel or the track pack spoiler are too easy to update and will throw you off.
We have gap insurance to deal with that. Ask an auto manufacturer to warranty a broken engine, ask an insurance agent/policy to address a potential loss of assets via gap insurance. In my twisted little world, I'd drown actuaries, not lawyers.
The weight on my Carbon 2 Carbon spoiler is 6# if I recall correctly, and I see that 50 Deep posted around 6.5# a couple years back. That's about 5 lbs lighter than OEM - good, bad, dunno, depends what's inside it when you cut it open. In practice, cost no object, the difference is 10# for a...
Antigravity ATX-12-24 720 amp Lithium battery with Morris Engineering battery mount, never used. Would recommend lithium specific CTEK battery maintainer. Easy to swap between street or track driving if you prefer, this saves 20 lbs. New costs is $400 battery, and $190 for the aluminim...
Got me too. I was fortunate to catch it on a short Sunday drive, but wonder what could have happened. Reach in from the top, slide back the heat shield, check the pigtail, tighten with a 27mm deep socket. I wish I spent the couple minutes a long time ago.
Should have listened.

Just go straight at it, email [email protected].
Here’s my config, pretty sure it needs a bit of unlisted custom config so youll have to email Austin and confirm it. The trick is picking the right snake image to match knob color, and this thread has the info.

I don't see a lot of this, so it sounds like this condition is something not too common. So thanks in advance for any brainpower :)
Twice, after a two day track event in the summer, on the drive home I have gotten a P0088 and P0087 trouble code at the same time. One is fuel pressure too high...
Not mistaken. I had to temporarily swap my old, stock tech pack transmission without coolers in in temporarily, and it would overheat within 3 laps at COTA, in the hot summer. I'm not sure I would actually call it "limp" because it was a warning "drive careful, cool down" and puts you well...
