There are no "hands on" reviews out there. The longer Ford keeps their testing secret, the more suspicious you should get. I'm guessing they can't get the '18 MY GT to equal performance of their direct competition, the camaro SS 1LE. There is no way I'd order a vehicle without first seeing how...
My hats off to you guys that have pre-ordered an '18 for the performance upgrades that as of yet haven't been proven on the track or road course. What are you going to do if eventual comparisons to the camaro SS 1LE fall short? I hope I'm wrong and I hope that if actual numbers prove out to be...
I found my 2017 GT PP to be boring to drive after only 11 months of ownership, so I sold it. I thought I was done with sports bike riding, but after being away from the sheer power, thrill and speed of canyon carving, I knew I had to get back into it. If you've ever ridden bikes like I have...

And let's not forget Ford did their testing with 93 octane gas. We here out west can only get 91, so a sub 4 second 0-60 run with a stock '18 isn't going to happen.
It's all good. Your Camaro is my dream car. I loved the mustang as well, but sold my 2017 GTPP premium because it just wasn't doing it for me. I'm an old dude that has had many mustangs and sport bikes in the past but decided to go back to two-wheeled fun again, thus my new Kawasaki ZX14R ABS...
Good on Ford! The Camaro SS and/or 1Le has 455 hp and 455 Ft/# torque, so I'm thinking the 1/4 mile times should be very close. I'm excited to see how they will compare on the track as well. We all know from videos that the newer Camaros kill just about everything on the track, so we'll see.
When you really get down to it, there really isn't that much of an exterior change between the new refresh and 15-17 MY. Most casual viewers won't even know the difference. That being said, (shameless post), if anyone is looking for a "like new" 2017 mustang GT PP - Race Red, check out the...
SOLD as of 5/13/17
Exceptional, like new condition.
Performance Package - 400A leather - 6 spd manual.
One owner (72 year old retired senior). I purchased this mustang new from Fairfield Ford Lincoln in Fairfield, California, on July 12, 2016. Nothing is wrong with the car, it's just that...
9 months ownership, 2,100 miles. Recreational (retired old guy) and spirited canyon carving driving only, never seen so much as a drop of rain.
You'll not find any scratches, dings or even swirl marks in the paint on my baby!! When I'm out and about, I never park it out of my sight.
Awesome! I love the sound of the Roush axle back exhaust.
I see you're from Wiesbaden. Ha.............I'm an old dude, went through Army airborne training there way back in July, 1963!
I realize this thread is a year old, but I noticed my hood fluttering a bit at around 110 MPH the other day. Found this thread, adjusted my hood stops to show 2 lines and it cured the problem completely. The stop adjustments from the factory were almost totally screwed down with no lines showing.
Keep in mind guys, if you go with the base model GT with the PP, it doesn't come with the driving mode selection switch (sport+, track, ice/snow, normal).
I personally think this thread is a very informative and valuable source of information for someone looking to buy a new Mustang.
I'm an older retired guy and have always been very anal and OCD about my toys. With all that being said, last July I finally found the GT with PP that I had been...
