I installed the Roush Axleback with the Ford Racing X-Pipe and it definitely turns heads and sounds amazing when you get on it, but is mellow when you don't. The perfect exhaust set up in my opinion, plus one of the cheapest to go with!

Did American Muscle give you any kind of trouble for your return? I have never had to return anything with them but looking at their return policy it looks like they may fight a return unless the item is defective, then just send you the same product.
