  1. What's difference between "Yellow Peel" and "Grabber Yellow" ?

Interesting. Here in Australia it's Rapid Red. By the way, how come in the UK, the GT only has 533 Nm (393 lb-ft) of torque? Here in Aus we have 556 (410 lb-ft).
  2. What's difference between "Yellow Peel" and "Grabber Yellow" ?

I noticed that here in Australia, Ford offer the Mustang in a colour called "Yellow Peel". But looking at the Ford US website, the only yellow listed is "Grabber Yellow". Are these two different colours, or just different names for the same colour?
  3. Are US used Mustang prices going up like here in Australia?

I see online there's one guy with a 2017 Mustang GT here in Australia, only done 7,000km (4300 miles) and he wants 57 grand for it! That's only 3 grand less than what it cost new.
  4. Are US used Mustang prices going up like here in Australia?

Yes, but sadly all of the V8 Holdens that were made in recent years are selling for high and unrealistic prices. Many sellers are asking close to the new cost, or even more, even though these cars are now nearly 4 years old or more. It's a very bad time to buy, but a great time to sell.
  5. Are US used Mustang prices going up like here in Australia?

Generally, people who buy a V8 Mustang are not concerned with "gas" prices. Here in Australia, for example, petrol (what we call gas) is relatively expensive compared to the USA. As such, you would assume that the 4-cylinder Mustang would sell well here. Not the case at all. 90% of people here...
  6. Are US used Mustang prices going up like here in Australia?

According to Redbook, my Mustang is now worth 16% more than it was in May last year, and only 3% less than it was worth 2 years ago! Is the situation the same over in the US? For reference, I paid $60,000 (US$45,000) for my 2016-built (2017 model year) Mustang GT coupe auto. It's now worth...
  7. Why did Ford rush the 2018 facelift?

I'm pretty sure that in the US market, there was no such thing as a 1996 5-series. 1995 was the last year of the E34 in the US, while 1997 was the first model year for the new E39 :)
  8. Why did Ford rush the 2018 facelift?

Why does every Mustang owner in Australia have to do something to change the appearance of the vehicle? It's fine as it is, I wish more people would just stick with the stock appearance. That said, that photo shows an angle you've chosen - we see almost none of the front, and you've lowered it...
  9. Why did Ford rush the 2018 facelift?

Is the rear fog light LED now? On my 2017, it's not, nor are the front fogs.
  10. Why did Ford rush the 2018 facelift?

In Australia there's no leasing available for the general consumer. It's only possible to do in certain cases through your employer, or if you're self-employed, and in those cases it's called a novated lease. It's confusing and I don't know very much about it. I always pay cash for my cars (no...
  11. Why did Ford rush the 2018 facelift?

All I know is that mine has 410hp not 435 :(
  12. Why did Ford rush the 2018 facelift?

Isn't the S650 just going to be a re-skin of the current model, like the '99 model was? Same platform and all? If this is the case, then the roofline and glasshouse won't change at all, and the overall dimensions will stay much the same. Only the exterior panels will change. Sadly, most vehicles...
  13. Why did Ford rush the 2018 facelift?

Well after 2+ years of being on sale in Aus, the facelift still hasn't grown on me. Yes, it's more aggressive, but the bonnet has lost the bulge, the grille is too wide, and the shape of the headlights is just weird and makes no sense to me. At the rear, I don't like how the bottom part of the...
  14. Why did Ford rush the 2018 facelift?

Anyone else think the facelift was rushed way too much? After 3 years, the styling of the Mustang was fine, and the facelift did absolutely nothing for sales other than hold them steady for a couple of years. Personally, I'm not a fan of the facelift at all, but regardless of whether or not you...
  15. Poor quality passenger side floor trim - is this normal?

Sadly I never paid much attention to how it was before. I got the audio done right after I bought it.
  16. Poor quality passenger side floor trim - is this normal?

Thanks for the help. I knew it couldnt have been that way from the factory. The car audio people didn't touch the rear speakers, though, only the front ones. They did install a sub in the trunk though.
  17. Poor quality passenger side floor trim - is this normal?

Hmm, I had an aftermarket sound system put in after I bought it. Could that explain it? They never told me they were going to do *that* to my door trim though!
  18. Poor quality passenger side floor trim - is this normal?

So, I noticed on the passenger side, right below the door, where the plastic meets the floor - there's this awful, ugly gap? Is everyone else's like this? The driver's side seems fine, however. I don't understand why that gap exists - other than for the floor mat to fit in. Yet, most other cars...
  19. Oz S550 spotted thread

Well, Sunbury Ford is out in the sticks, but just because the car was bought there doesn't necessarily mean that that's where the car/owner resides.
