After 3000+ miles, my friendly clank/clunk came back. I took it into the service dept. and they confirmed that it's there. The mechanic put in a report to the engineering hotline and hopefully will hear back Monday about what's next. Apparently, there are plenty of requests about this issue...
I have the same issue with my iPod video where it plays a completely random song whenever I make a certain selection. It works fine when I go through artists or albums and try to play the song. I just chalked it up to having an old iPod. I might try to reset my iPod or reorganize it.
So I took it in yesterday and all they had to do was reprogram the throttle body. Apparently, the field service action mentioned potential issues with the throttle body and if there was a history of issues, they would replace it. I believe the issues you had with yours was what the service...
Thanks Decosse for that info. I read your thread and I'm glad it all got sorted out. I'll be taking it in tomorrow for something else, so I'll just mention the FSA to my service advisor.
Hey I checked the Ford Owner Site today and found this under recall notices. Bought my 2016 Mustang in April so this was surprising. Anyone else get this?

Brought my 2016 V6 Mustang in to the dealership last Friday (7/29) and picked it up Tuesday (8/2) due to this issue. I noticed it initially at 3500 miles and it got progressively louder and more frequent until I decided to take it in at 5500. The dealership was quick and efficient and they...
Stranglehold was the first song I listened to as I left the dealership, but lately I've been on a Beastie Boys trip. Listening to Sabotage on the interstate is always a blast.
Yeah that's the plan next time I buy a car. Since it was my first car purchase, I did not even think about all of the dealer advertising decals. About to get rid of the license plate too.
Definitely had to remove the dealership stickers. Glad it was a hot day because the stickers peeled right off. The dealer still gets advertising from the license plate frame (for now), and I get a smooth, stickerless car.
Thanks to the advice on all of your posts, I finally picked up an exhaust this weekend and installed it today. It sounds great compared to stock and for the price, you can't beat. Definitely recommend to anyone on the fence about it. Also, posting to the regional forum got me a response in...
I saw some heat extractors (turn signals) at newtakeoff.com, but I haven't seen black yet. Might be worth watching to see if any pop up. Here's the link: http://www.newtakeoff.com/mustang-20.aspx?page=3 .
Hi, I posted in the WTB section, but I wanted to try the local section too. I live in Garner, NC (right outside Raleigh) so I'm in search of a local member who has swapped their GT catback exhaust and would like to get rid of it for a good price. I want to try it on my 2016 V6 and see how it...
Picked up a 2016 base Guard V6 with auto transmission and backup sensors for $21,845. This price includes $3000 down and $750 rebates plus the Z plan. Will also be receiving $500 in the mail for the college rebate program. Got to love the Ford plans!
