Go back a page on the thread Phil, you will see my experience in a long winded story. I used heat but probably too late. Like Copie said on the previous page you really need a hair dryer or heat gun if the ambient temp is only 15 degrees. Just be careful with the heat on the plastic though!
Thinking that probably an hour with the hair dryer wasn't enough, I don't know. Should have had it there before the first time application me thinks. Could have been a different story I guess. Anyway...
Yeah, sorry, thanks Copie for reminding me. :)
Between the first and second goes I didn't mention that I went and bought a hair dryer from the Good Guys and used it on it and left it on for a good hour, placed strategically in the car aiming straight at it. Came back turned it off and left it...
For those who get the dead pedal cover this is what happened to me and what I did. Each to their own and do whatever you think is appropriate.
OK, so got mine out of the packet on Saturday morning. Comes with an instruction sheet. It says if it doesn't fit it is because there were two dead...
My dead pedal turned up just as I had to leave the house. Won't be back till early hours of the morning. Didn't even have time to open it but all up I ordered Monday 5th so pretty good in my book.
For anyone interested the dead pedal cover is now listed on the Australian ebay site.

OK, I have managed to find a dead pedal cover for rhd mustangs. I haven't received mine yet, only ordered it on Monday but it was shipped inside 24 hours. There is a seller on the UK ebay website who is in Germany and makes them for the UK market it seems. There is only 1 or 2 advertised at a...
Just wondering about this carbon fibre wrap on the textured plastic lower door as a solution. Does this stuff leave residue which is a pita to get off later on? Especially on the plastic grain of the door. Am thinking being grained it should lift off easily? I don't mind the black carbon fibre...

If you type in ford mustang and search for it the sub menu's come up on the left hand side, about 25 eg clothing, Clothing, electronics, bodykits etc. If you type 2015 ford mustang you don't get as many sub menu's.
But yeah, like I said earlier, there is stuff there that you won't find...
No worries bluepony. Don't take too much notice of the shipping details. Sometimes it says it has just left the destination country and an hour later the postie is knocking on the door with the parcel.
I too also ordered the leather keyfob cover, as well as some inner stainless steel door...
Hey people's
For those that like shopping for their stang, and who doesn't, they might be interested to know that www.aliexpress.com, which is part of Alibaba, has a massive online catalogue of things for the 2015 stang. I am finding things on there that I can't find anywhere else. I have not...
Maybe it is possible to get some thin black rubber and place it under the rubber edge on the sill plate and let it sit over the plastic as a protective cover? It wouldn't look too silly me thinks.
