Can anyone in Europe post a video of how the factory tail lights look under different modes of operation? I know the European models have amber turn signals, but I don't know how they look and function versus the US market. I've tried searching but all I seem to find is aftermarket "euro"...
Important question, if I do recover the system and pull a vacuum on it, is it necessary to add any oil back in? Or is the oil unaffected by doing said procedures?
I have the tools available and decent knowledge of how to use them. I might do that first just to keep it simple. At this point though I'm expecting a ruptured desiccant bag and contamination through the whole system. No matter what the issue is though, I'll be doing the work myself because...
The under hood fans? Yeah they are both running in the whole video. I show that at the end but I don't expect anyone to sit through all 16 minutes of it haha.
I'll probably take it to the Mazda dealer the woman works at and evacuate the system and open it up and see if there is trash in the condenser. They will let me use stuff their cheap or free as long as they have an open bay.
Based on the pressures I'm seeing, adding that much would very much over charge the system. The static and idle speed pressures appear to be pretty spot on. Sorry about the freedom units haha. I actually had more in the system yesterday before I recovered a little bit at a time to get the idle...
I'd say I aded at most 6 ounces. It was whatever was left from a can I had from last year (sealed and stored cleanly). The system was not completely dead, just not working worth a crap. I may have overcharged it some, but I ended up recovering some of it back out to try to remedy the problem...
Well that's not news I was hoping for haha. What steps did you take to determine that? Where did the trash accumulate? Any idea where the trash came from? I'm hoping that isn't my problem but if it is I'll deal with it. I just don't wanna load the parts cannon and spend hundreds on parts that I...
I've got a 2017 GT PP. Just under 9k miles. I've had to have the A/C recharged once or twice before due to a refrigerant leak. At first I thought it was the evaporator core considering they had issues, however I noticed yesterday when attempting to recharge it myself that the high side port had...
So over 3500 posts and still no definitive amswer? Are the 18s having this issue? I did read somewhere on here that the gt350s are not. What is different with the 350 that they don't have this issue?
Shouldn't those be 2018 models? My '17 was built July 27, 2016, and as far as I know '16 MY production had already ceased. Or is that a typo and it applies to '17's made in '16?
And after the massive recall, why in the hell would they still use takata??? Didn't learn the first time apparently?
I have a few questions:
What exactly do those bolts hold together from the factory?
Is there any problem using the factory bolts where possible rather than the supplied ones?
How important is it to remove the seam sealer?
If I don't remove any sealer and it's not excessively thick, will...
What exactly is the procedure to square everything up? I'm gonna be jacking mine up in a week or 2 to have a look and want to fix this problem. Probably a dumb question but when I'm messing with my $40k plus baby, I wanna make sure I do it right.
Unfortunately the international calling rates would probably be astronomical.
I second this.
I've not had that problem. The only time I've ever had a problem going into gear is when the tranny is still a bit cold, and even then, it required very little extra effort.
Is there any way you can call them or something and pry the information out of them for what they did? I mean it is your car, you kinda have the right to know exactly what they did. It might help those of us that have the vibration.
