At first, the latch would trigger if the trunk was all the way up, and would quit reacting just before it was fully closed. Since it was dependent on position I'm figuring in my case a wire is faulty. Now its 100% useless no matter what position the trunk is in
Likely a wiring problem. Anyone...
Same issue on an 2015 EB here. When I click any of the buttons I get a clicking sound in the footwell, so I assume the fuse and relay are good. But all I get is light flashing and no latch release.
I'm assuming its wiring and not the latch or the trunk actuator but I could be wrong. Not really...
Looks like the orange fury one might be the "new base trim"...
Black pedals, no chrome surround on speakers, cloth seats. BUT, touch screen and toggle switches. Did they do away with the center stack found in current base cars?
So last night on an entrance ramp my car decided to throw a light (code P0234) after gear 1-3 run up to about 75. Following this acceleration run, I cannot get any power under acceleration regardless of if I mat the gas pedal...UNTIL I turned the car off and back on. Then, all was back to...
I installed mine in March of 2016.. and They are not going anywhere. They sit 90% flush, with maybe 1.5-2 inches of the vertical honeycomb line sitting maybe a millimeter high. As long as the tape underneath forms a bond, no amount of wind can rip them off.
Also for what its worth 3M tape...
Put both of them on the Nurburgring. Either one could be 10 seconds faster than the other on any given lap. There's just too many variables...
People want to point out a difference of a less than half a second. REALLY? That could literally be one improper rev match going into a corner. That...
People that crave a manual are a diminishing population. That said, I think now that people can get the best handling package with an auto, at least 10-20% will jump ship.
I see it as two boats: people who positively love shifting gears on there own, and people who want raw performance... the...
All money spent on my Mustang makes it more potent as it pertains to killing me. I won't feel bad about the money I spent when I'm being cleaned up with a mop at a crash scene
Fords ads so far have only said increased torque, while for GT its increased torque and HP. They also mentioned overboost
as featured in the Focus RS. My guess is stock 310 HP, 320 TQ... but when overboost is enabled (the focus RS requires you to go into track mode) around 350 TQ.
Judging off the pic of the blue one at St Louis, seems the EB model will again not have grille fangs in 2018?
Also, any pics of an EB rear valence w/o quad tips?
RANT WARNING
They want to sell that 10 speed for all its worth. They went off and essentially made the 6 speed manual worthless performance wise. The 10 speed will obviously do laps around a car with two over drives and only four other gears.
BUT WAIT: Remember LSPI and Ecoboost blowing up...
My not-into-cars friend just said: "the new one looks like one they would sell in Europe at the same time they sell the current one in the US"
He's onto something...
Unlike the 13 refresh, this one doesn't make make the incumbent gen look outdated. It just looks different. Nothing cutting edge or too spicy design wise, just different. Some good some bad.
The photo shop I want to see is the new bumper with current headlights.
